I love rooftop restaurant/bars and was excited to try one in Providence while visiting. It was hard to catch a vibe here. There was a mixed crowd where I feel it wasn’t really sure what clientele it was meant for. The views were great but we’re hard to see when sitting. The sofa chairs and tables were set so low they were hard to eat off comfortably. Service was great, food over priced and mediocre at best. Got gnocchi with chicken and the chicken was so dry and tasted like something frozen out of a bag. Husbands steak was over done. Portions very small for price. Chocolate cake also tasted as if it was sitting in a freezer. I feel this restaurant has so much potential but needs some work. In the kitchen and all around. Very messy and confused as a table next to us had teens with parents wearing over sized sweat shirts and jeans on, another with an older group dressed to the nines. A few tables with groups of trendy girls, and my husband and self somewhere in the middle. Will I return? No. Recommend to make your own opinion.

My husband and I decided to celebrate NYE here and opted for a 7:15p.m. dinner. We knew we weren't up for staying until midnight, so this was a good compromise. First, the downstairs host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Very personable. We took the elevator up and were greeted by another hostess station. From the time we sat down our serve was wonderful. Very conversational and recommended a great bottle of wine to go with our meal. The food was part of a prefixed menu, so we made our choices. The oysters were nice. The cauliflower was good. I personally didn't like the arancini. For our entrees we had swordfish and pork chops. Both were tasty, but I wasn't overly impressed. Dessert was the low note of the meal. But the views were great, the ambiance was festive and service was very friendly. The live music was also fantastic. I'm sure the late night party was a fun scene as well. Overall, great service, fantastic view and vibe, but food was a little lacking.

Location, location, location. I love how you have to approach this restaurant by going through a lobby of the condo complex/apartment building. It's so discreet, and when you get off the elevator, the vaulted ceiling and city views surround you. They have indoor and outdoor spaces that are fabulous. Food is just OK, and the service is a little slow, but it's just really fun to be there. This would be a really great place to start off your night with drinks, or it might be the last place you go for the night too!

When we arrived the atmosphere seemed very nice and cozy. The outside fire pits roaring, white lights on the trees very cool looking. But that was it. The service was very slow to start but was good enough once he arrived. Went on Valentine's Day. They had a special menu which we thought was a great idea for a busy night in the restaurant business. They didn't pull it off. We started with a Bibb salad which was very good. Second course Drunken seafood 2 littleneck clams and 4 mussels with raw onions and a very boring broth. All the seafood was not cooked therefor not eatable. I had Flat Iron steak which was cooked perfect with parsnip puree about a teaspoons worth and roasted Brussel sprouts which were burnt to a crisp and couldn't really tell what they were by looking at them. On top of that it was all cold.My wife had risotto which had absolutely no flavor at all and Luke warm. For dessert they served white and chocolate mousse in a plastic tulip glass topped with a very unripened strawberry. The chocolate mousse tasted good but the white chocolate tasted like a boxed whip and chill. For $50.00 each it was a joke. A friend of ours was playing the piano which is the only reason we came. Her throat was very scratchy and asked me to grab her a cup of hot water(simple request) I asked the bartender and was told they didn't have hot water but I could go downstairs to another restaurant and ask them. I thought she was kidding but not the case. Well that really sums it up for this place. The need a Chef for sure and someone in the front that has a clue.

I am so disappointed to hear that you had a less than enjoyable experience on our Rooftop! We strive to provide excellent service and food in a cozy atmosphere and it seems as though we missed the mark this time. I will be sure to discuss all of your concerns with our entire team so that we can make adjustments moving forward! Best Regards, Rebecca Miller

The good: The staff, the manager. Really lovely people people. I brought over some friends who just past the 50 year marriage mark, and when I told the server, she brought a (warm) but celebratory bubble glass. That was a sweet touch that earned her 21% tip. The deviled eggs were great, and the crudo was nice. Not memorable, but well prepared. Box garden is lovely. The bad: The cushions are past their prime, so outdoor seating with a fire pit (that I pre-ordered and was supposed to get $75 applied to my ticket and DIDN"T but I didn't feel like arguing with them) is uncomfortable and past its prime. The views are less than urban... but we were outside. The burger for $18 was meh at best but they did accommodate a fried egg (OVERCOOKED) and a rare burger was closer to medium. Fries? Beh, and their sauce? Only they can love it. Its ok. The cheese board for $18 should either be on a smaller board so that you can't dwell on how skimpy it is, ditto for the charcuterie board. The little bottles of champagne need to go in a glass of ice, because it became warm very quickly. The ugly: Covid people. Social distancing is not in their vocabulary and the place packs. Sure its outside. But people don't need to be on top of each other... But to each their own. I will still get checked on Tuesday just in case, and I'm vaccinated. I wanted to be outside and that was cool. I wanted to love the place, but I didn't but I'm not going to say its all that bad either. If I were a college kid again, I would think its great.

Such a beautiful spot, could be so much more. Great atmosphere, service, and drinks and that's about it. The food took forever to come out and was lacking quality, taste, or flavor. We ordered the Oyster Rockfellar and the chicken and waffles. The Oysters were lacking any stuffing and were cold. The chicken and waffles were some drum sticks on an eggo waffle with little flavor or presentation. For the cost you expect chef quality food but you receive less than a chain quality. The main entrees were awful. We ordered a burger cooked medium-well that came out rare with an odd taste and flavor to it (also very cold), we also ordered a steak frites cooked medium that came out black and blue (burnt outside, raw inside) also cold served with fries and the presentation and taste (one bite) was awful. We arrived at 3, left at 4:45 starving. The pace of receiving the food and no time to wait to have it remade left us leaving very unsatisfied. The drinks for the bar were amazing and so was our server but if ambiance is what is getting people in they need more than that to get people to come back.

Looked interesting when checking out website, but discovered a superficial feel. More like a club than restaurant. Scallops over cooked, food bland, under seasoned. No cutting knife offered for dinner. Cheesecake could have been bought in an average grocery stored. My husband walked away hungry. Wait staff friendly & nice. Seating uncomfortable. I had so been looking forward to trying this restaurant & was let down enough to not go back. The restaurant even reported to Open Table had skipped out on our reservation, despite our checking in & being seated.

We found this place close to our hotel on the first evening of a short visit to Providence. We were immediately enchanted by the rooftop view (it didn't hurt that there was a beautiful sunset). We were waited on and served pretty quickly.. The house Caesar salad was uniquely flavored (and our very helpful server, Joshua, was kind enough to find out the ingredients). Both my lumaconi pasta and my wife's duck and fig flatbread were also delicious were also delicious and the portions were large enough for another meal. We saved room for dessert and had the ice cream brownie sundae, another house specialty--excellent. And the bill was remarkably reasonable, especially considering the size of the portions. Much has been said in other reviews about the fire pits, their cost, and their availability.. After we paid our bill, we wandered over to one of the fire pits and admired the last of the sunset. We did not ask permission, we did not order any food or drink while we were there, and we stayed maybe 15 minutes. No one told us we shouldn't be there (that said, there were only a few other customers in the and none in the firepit area). It was a nice conclusion to a pleasant dining experience.

Our 8 person party had an indoor reservation booked and we were subsequently sat outside at a fire table that didn’t work. We asked to be moved to an indoor table and were moved to a fire table that required a $500 minimum purchase before tip. We were moved AGAIN to a freezing table in the corner of the outdoor rooftop where a manager gave us lackluster lip service that he would “do his best” to try to seat us at the indoor table we had originally booked. We NEVER saw him again. The food was palatable. The staff was uneducated. A waiter confidently served us pork belly and told us it was pimento cheese… The bathrooms were also filthy and a safety hazard based on the amount of urine on the floor. 10 out of 10 would not recommend.

Fully expected this place to be just a trendy cute place but the food shocked me. Some of the best on the trip! We got cocktails & shared appetizers. We got glazed carrots, brussels, tempura shrimp, fries, margherita pizza & deviled eggs. All so good!!!

We came for the great views of Providence but stayed for the excellent food and service. The outdoor setting is a very welcome option given covid. Sometimes you sacrifice the quality of the food for a view, but not here—everything we had was exceptional, especially the tempura rock shrimp. The menu is big enough that everyone can find something that they like and it's easy to mix and match small and large plates. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Have not eaten in restaurants much in the last year, but the rooftop was great. Felt very covid safe. Menu has a lot of tapas style options with something for everybody (which was great, we had a couple of vegetarians in our group.

Combine great food and the opportunity to sit beside a fire in late fall and it adds up to a great experience. Scallops were perfect and the presentation made my mouth water just looking at it. Our waitress was a joy and added to the evening.

My third time here I usually like the environment. But yesterday we had the worse experience ever. Myself and two others friends were there having some drinks and appetizers then at end of the night we decided to go sit outside by the fireplace . So the manager apparently decided to go up to us and lie that we have to pay $75 to sit there . Not that we couldn’t pay but found it exaggerated and left . Maybe people of color have to pay to sit in a cool area ?! Discrimination?! We didn’t feel right about it and spoke with other people that sat at the table with the fireplace a few minutes later and they told us they never got charged to sit there. Sadly but my last time there .

Visited the restaurant for a Valentines dinner, and was incredibly disappointed. First we ordered espresso martinis at the bar, and instead of using real espresso it was some nasty syrup. Yuck. When we sat for our meal, we had a couple of appetizers that were "okay" but nothing special. For our entrees, she had the gnocchi which she said was rubbery and cold. I had the bone-in ribeye which was MISSING THE BONE. Service was fine, ambience was nice.... But never again.
