Venda is a huge, old-fashioned deli and food market, where you can get all kinds of cold cuts, cheeses, prepared foods, breads, and much more -- homemade pasta, too. Ask for samples of things you're considering buying. Buy a coffee maker, too, or kitchen items. Sit at a table and enjoy the food you just bought. It's right at DePasquale... More

The food is ok. This is more of a restaurant for the older folks. It is right in the middle of federal hill worth trying at least once.

This Italian market is one of several on Federal Hill, they sell many Italian specialty foods and have a restaurant associated with the market. Prices are a little high but the variety and quality of the products are worth it. When visiting Federal Hill in Providence make it a point to stop by Venda's.

Access to restaurants WiFi denied. This is 2016, every half decent place gives you free access, maybe limiting how for long. As an international traveler I don't have mobile data access in the US. Over the past 10 days from San Francisco to Boston and throughout Providence Rhode Island all restaurants, coffee shops, Amtrak, university campuses even in market squares... More

The best Italian Restaurant this side of Italy. The meat market and deli make the ambiance. You expect to see a Corleone walk through the door any second. You have to try this place

Great place for lunch! The 3 dishes we ordered were (fingers kiss the lips!) Outdoor seating when the weather gets warmer.

The market at Venda is awesome; fresh pasta, delicious cheeses and Italian meats are all readily available and are better than the average grocery store. The restaurant is a bit pricey, even for the Federal Hill area, and the menu is very Americanized Italian. The food is good though, the service excellent, and the restaurant clean. A bit more variety... More

Not really italian, just american-italian. Decent assortment, average quality and expensive. Not the worst place to go but definitely not actual Italian food.

We found this to be a very friendly place with staff that answered any questions on items we were interested in purchasing such as stuffed chicken and Pistachios Mortadella (really good as we had a piece to try)and a large variety of Ravioli , Italian Cheeses and Pasta. Located in the Federal Hill District just a very interesting place.
