Fresh food with homemade pasta. Great calamari. Gnocchi tasted like tomato paste. Friendly servers. Very expensive. Server knew extensively about the options.

We stopped in after getting son off the train- rain was forcast so we opted for dinner inside. We were lucky to get a table and had a wonderful waiter.. Started with the chianti and the fried buffalo mozzarella...was delicious! We shared our dinners--ink black linquini with seafood, monk fish with lemon sauce and grilled veggies and wonderful raviolis. Homemade... More

We were walking through the streets of Federal Hill, a quaint, historic section of Providence in search of a restaurant. There was no shortage of choices!! When we walked into Zooma, we noticed a small room to the left of the entrance with a table sprinkled with flour and filled with cooking utensils..that is where they make their homemade pasta!!... The food and drinks were incredible. Their homemade pasta is to die for, and their pizzas had a unique taste to them, with the best cheese and sauce, and the thin crust that is my favorite. We had Martinis for dessert off a special dessert menu, and they were to die for! We'll definitely be back to Zooma. The only... More

Lovely Italian food served by very friendly people. Extremely generous portions, only wish we had been made aware that there were two courses as we were unable to do justice to the second course.

There were two of us and we needed to have a business conversation during dinner. The restaurant was very welcoming. We sat and talked for nearly 90 minutes before ordering anything more than a drink. We never felt pressured. The staff was very accommodating. When we did order we enjoyed a fabulous meal. We started with a caesar salad which... More

Great service by Kevin and the staff was very attentive and caring. They all seemed to enjoy what they were doing. I would have to say the entree's were the best part of the meal. The Mussels for the appetizer were blan and heavily coated in red onions. Excellent bread, good wine choices and an authentic flavorful entrée. I had... More

I was recently in Providence at a conference, and we asked at the hotel "If you were dining out yourself, where would you eat" - Three people responded with this choice. The food was phenomenal - Fresh homemade pasta - Gnocci with a butternut squash cream sauce and pistachio nuts, sacchette,.... the list is endless. Service was good and quick,... More

First impressions is that the restaurant probably needs a refresh in the entrance. On the other hand, the area where were seated was pleasantly updated and with nice Mediterranean accents in the decor. The staff was very polite and attentive. We were served complementary fresh warm bread with olive oil. We ordered a Margherita style pizza for 2. To my... More

We came here for dinner with a tour group. It was absolutely wonderful! The owner made a pizza for us, telling a great story along the way. I thought we were having the wood-fired pizzas, perfectly cooked calamari appetizer and caesar salad for dinner. Then the waiter began bringing out MORE dishes for us! Homemade gnocchi with eggplant & marinara... More
