This was a great choice for an early dinner with cocktails. There were all couples there at 5:00 on a hot summer Saturday. Nice and cool in the downstairs room (upstairs opens an hour or so later). Blackboard specials of Chicken Tacos and Rose Sangria were perfect for us. Spouse had red snapper which was just the right portion for... More

We stopped here one night for drinks. It was packed so we went upstairs to check it out. It was a little reminiscent of a college dive bar but that did not bother us. After checking out upstairs the hostess told us the bar downstairs would be available and it was so problem solved! The bar is dimly light but... More

We chose The Red Fez based on the high quality reviews but were not only disappointed but a little creeped out. The atmosphere is dark and dank in a very medieval way, we felt like we were in a dungeon. The restaurant was full yet strangely quiet. Throw in a Shrek look alike at the bar ogling our teenage daughter... More

This was a hidden gem...never knew it was in the section of the city. Cute, cozy, unique, and different, Service was on point. Get the Putine fries! Delish!

What a fun place! Tucked away on the edge of the city, this interesting restaurant is definitely a must-visit. The menu is unique and I chose the Mac n cheese with bacon. It came very quickly and was piping hot, yummy goodness. My one complaint? The portion size was small. For the price it could have been 25% bigger. My... More

We ordered several menu items to share and everything was fantastic! Prices are great and service was fantastic. Only complaint would be that, for me, there were no good choices on the specialty mixed drink menu. The others I was with disagree.

Stopped by with colleagues and clients — had no problem getting a table, and the staff was great. We tried some signature cocktails, beer and wine — all good, server made some solid suggestions. The pork tacos were delish, and you can't go wrong with poutine, hummus and the pimento dip. Overall a fun, casual place to go.

It doesn't exactly look open even when it is, and the signage is incredibly subtle. Always pays to go out with a local. Has upstairs and downstairs dining areas. Be warned, if you don't like dead animals watch you eat, don't choose the upstairs option. Not good for rampant vegetarians, lots of stuffed animal heads. Very quirky décor though. A... More

After a disappointing day of closed restaurants, we found the red fez via a guide to providence given to us by our hotel! It don't look inviting from outside but the menu sounded amazing so we gave it a go! The number of locals in the restaurant reinforced our decision! The food choice wasn't vast but we go the impression... More

My husband and I have dined here several times & have a wonderful experience every time we go. The menu changes seasonally which keeps it new & fresh. I love the special tacos & hummus. They are closed on Mondays & dessert is not available. This is a great place to go if you're looking for fresh, seasonal food at... More
