Andy, behind the bar, is one of the most insightful bartenders around. His ability to recommend beers/drinks/pairings for your palette is amazing and he's not the only reason to visit either! The food at Julian's is perfectly priced for the absolutely amazing quality of food/ingredients offered here. I cannot speak highly enough about this amazing little restaurant/bar.

I ate breakfast at Julian's on a business trip to Providence. Wow. The breakfast was amazing!!! Great made from scratch meals. Huge portions. Very good prices. If I lived in Providence I would eat here daily. Highly recommended.

Went for an early Sunday brunch. Seated immediately, and initial service was prompt. Then we waited, and waited, and watched while all the other tables received their food. Finally, after a half hour the server told us there was a mix up with the order. When the food eventually arrived it was excellent. The menu is eclectic. All the other dishes... More

Hearty breakfast. Atmosphere was fun, bathroom a must-see all on its own. Portion sizes were huge and totally good value for cost. My boyfriend enjoyed his food completely. I found that my food was a bit bland for my tastes but would be appealing to a broader audience. Overall, a fun experience!

We arrived at Julian's at 4:55 (by the way, no signs outside or inside telling us the name of the place) and the man that greeted us was quite rude, telling us that we don't open until 5 but you can have a seat. Thankfully, the rest of the meal and service were quite enjoyable. My two friends were vegetarians... More

I eat brunch here at least once a week! When ever I have friends visiting or guests at my hotel I send them here. I even broke the record for the largest party they've had (19). First of all their bloody mary kicks you in the teeth with all the pepper and is one of my favorites I've had. Their... More

Eggs Benedict - Eggs Benedict - Eggs Benedict!!!! So, we are regulars at this establishment. As you can tell we have fallen in love with their eggs benedict lol. This place is a cool, hipster spot. The place is decorated in a weird but artistic way. Perfect for Rhode Island. ALL the food is absolutely to die for (ALL OF... More

The trumpet mushroom entree was delicious and unique. Side salad was good as well. We waited a LONG time for our two entrees and three sides, while the server never reappeared to check on another round of drinks or even offer us bread. Not sure I would return or recommend. Kind of spoils the fun...

Went here for brunch in a party of 4 on a Sunday late morning. They don't take reservations and were told the wait was 40 minutes, but ended up being about 30 minutes. Inside is a bit noisy, but part of the atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful in describing items on the menu. Food was good, but not deserving... More
