We have had meals here several times and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is small and cozy and the staff is very courteous and knowledgeable but the food is outstanding. The linguini and red clam sauce is excellent and the egg plant parmigiana is delicious. It can get pretty crowded on the weekend days but no reservations are required... More

Came here on a Friday night with my daughter and her roommate. Had a reservation and was promptly seated. The food was superb and the waitstaff was friendly and attentive. We started by enjoying the calamari and it was over the top good. I had the shrimp scampi and it was a generous portion and delicious. Can't wait to go... More

One among the many Italian places on the hill, prob one of the better ones. Italian comfort food at decent prices $$ with large portion sizes. Got the chicken Francaise which was probably a little too lemony but nonetheless very good in its buttery, white wine goodness. Usually comes with pasta or vegetable on the side. Service was a little... More

We were in Providence for one night and were directed to the Federal Hill section of town to find good restaurants. We stopped in Andino's to check the menu and were greeted by the very friendly staff. Without a reservation, we were immediatley seated right at the front window. This is a very authentic Italian restaurant. Food was great, service... More

Andino's is one of our favorite places to have dinner on Federal Hill. It's easy to get to and has complimentary valet parking. The menu has many choices and I always can find something different to try. They are also sensitive to my food allergy, which is very reassuring. If you love Sangria, this is the place for you. The... More

Out for a special family event December 16th. We had not been to Andino's previously but had been to most of the other restaurants on Federal Hill. We had a wonderful evening. The soups and appetizers were delicious - chicken escarole soup and calamari. The calamari was tender and flavorful, one of the best! The entrees, shrimp fra di- avalo,... More

While on a solo trek to Newport for the Jazz Festival I made a side trip to Federal Hill in Providence and, upon a local's recommendation, ate at Andino's. The best Italian food I've had in ages. The atmosphere is great, tastefully decorated and of course lots of autographed pictures of famous movie gangsters over the bar; always a good... More

When I want to enjoy a pleasant, leisurely lunch on a sunny afternoon, I eat outdoors at one of the restaurants on the square. When I want great Italian food, there’s only one choice—Andinos.I I have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. When you sit at the bar, the server (always a woman) asks you name, introduces... More

We took some international guests for dinner in Providence prior to a traditional Thanksgiving at the house. We were seated at a table but it was a bit tight and we planned on eating well so they moved us to another area. The service was great, very attentive. The food and beverages were just what we wanted to have to... More
