I had the seafood kabob. Was very good. The service was very good. We arrived as they opened for day and we were the only customers inside.

I recently visited this cozy Greek Restaurant for a celebration. Walking down Thayer Street we came across this location and heard great reviews from the locals and decided to try it. Boy did we hit the jackpot! Our waitor was excellent and very knowledgeable with...the menu helping us with recommendations. We are huge fans of calamri and their fried calamri was cooked perfectly, very light and airy with a great crisp to it. We ordered the huge appetizer sampler platter which was plenty for the 8 of us! Delicious!!! Excellent sample of traditonal meats of lamb and chicken and pork with all the fixings! If you love Sangria definitely try both the white and the red you cant go wrong! It was very refreshing and the pitcher was great for our group as well! The comfy booths and intimate tables in combination with a very friendly waitstaff and delicious authentic food I highly recommend!More
I have eaten at Andreas Restaurant on several occasions and it serves good authentic Greek Cuisine. The food is a good value for the money and they offer a wide variety of Greek entrees.
Had a nice meal here. The bartender was terrific (Amanda) as was the wait staff. I had the Gyro platter & it was very good. We had the fried cheese too. Owner was a nice guy too.
Authentic Greek/Mediterranean cuisine with ambiance (Greek music, nice lighting, comfortable booth near a window) in the Brown University area. A small meze plate appetizer turned out to be quite large, with fish, chicken, sausage, olives, tiziki, hummus, and more was enough for us both and...we were glad we didn't order entrees until we were well into the first course. We then split marianated beets and the Horiatiki salad to share as well as an absolutely delicious creme phyllo (galaktobouriko) dessert. Our waitress was charming and attentive. Get the local mule cocktail!More
We have been going to Andrea's for many years. The place has a mix of Greek and American cuisine. They also have Sunday brunch, work decent mimosas. Overall, they have a good bar, a selection of Greek and Californian wines, and good, moderately priced food...for most pallets. Wait staff is attentive, but not overly zealous to impose. Good place for couples and groupsMore
Within walking distance of the Brown University campus and on lively Thayer Street, Andreas Hellenic Restaurant has a perfect location to offer fine quality Hellenic cuisine. It falls short on expectations. The Mediterranean Seafood Stew was so bad it was sent back. The shrimp were...canned or dried and the mussels were off. It was inedible. The grape leaves were tough, even the lamb chops served on boxed pilaf were not fresh. The Spanikopita spinach in phyllo dough tasted like it sat around for a while. Avoid Monday restaurant visits here. The food was not fresh. However, the chicken with lemon and egg white soup was superb. The rice pudding was quite good.More
Some of the items were made fresh in the restaurant and some were not. Had the chicken souvlaki. It came with rice and a salad. Food was good and the service was great. Prices were moderate.
Greek theme food served here.very good service and the quality is really good. The owner is a funny guy who will come to the table and tell you jokes. Laugh at them, if not he may not let you come back again.Nice man really. He takes...a lot of pride in serving very good, fresh, foods and you can not go wrong with anything you eat here. A go to placeMore
