The Providence location is by far the best out of all the other Greggs in the state. Staff is always friendly and the food just tastes better. Stopped by today for lunch and our waitress Susan was such a sweetheart! We left with a full belly and thanks to Susan we also left smiling!

I was honestly more interested in seeing and catching up with my friend, but everything was very good. The baked onion soup was excellent--not just beef bouillon that is usually too salty. Very tasty beef soup and topped with mozzarella and Swiss cheese ($6.50). I had the grilled shrimp on top of baby spinach leaves--lots of spinach!--topped with sliced red... More

RI icon. Service was good, waitress was there when she needed to be but didn't hover. Salad was huge, veggie wrap tasty, scallops were a disappointment - kind of bland. Pickles seriously delicious.

Something has happened here. This was one of the great places to eat. I know its new ownership, but could they not be aware of what made this place famous? Please stop reducing the portions, the quality, and raising the prices. Plus, new wait staff each time I visit.

I have a strong bias about places like this. My thinking is that everything they serve is out of a can, processed or packaged. But to my surprise I had some wonderful fresh vegetables on my last visit there. In fact, all the food they served was fresh and flavorful. I am not a big fan but I will say... More

from burgers to full meals you will never go wrong in one of the Greg locations. North Main is a large restaurant with a full bar and is very well managed a very clean location with lots of on site parking. A great staff and meals that fit every budget. The dessert section is outstanding with a fantastic selection of... More

We're regulars at Gregg's, usually once a week for either take-out or dine-in. You can sit in the main dining room or go in the side and sit in the smaller pub section. This is the only restaurant I've been to where I don't just order the same thing every time. Large menu to choose from, fantastic french fries, great... More

I knew when I walked in and saw that the average age of the customers was about 88yo that we should stick to old classics. So we both got burgers. They were fine. Cole slaw was very supermarket deli style. Service was good, even though it was pretty busy when we got there. The desserts are huge and huger. There... More

A fine small chain of eateries, with a big menu, kind of like TGIF. The food is good and the desserts are great. Their white cake and chocolate cake are standouts for cake lovers and their cheesecakes are good, too.

Had been here before and enjoyed it so I took some friends here for breakfast. The service was extremely slow. The staff was very nice but it took us about an hour and a half for a breakfast that should have been a half hour. The restaurant was not even half full and it looked like they had plenty of...
