The Pulpo is a great way to start. Make sure you get a seat on their patio. We don't get a ton of fried food these days but that Jalea dish (Fried seafood medley) was fantastic. Fresh, lightly fried and a great mix of seafood....Shrimp, bay scallops, squid, mussels with a light crema. But the star of the show is the three grilled Octopus tentacles. Pulpo PachamanqueroMore

We had reservations and had to wait about 20 minutes beyond our reservation time, but it was definitely worth it! We enjoyed calamari appetizer, a vegetarian entree and lobster paella. All were fantastic. The service was excellent and it was lovely to sit outside. Overall...a lovely evening!More

We were in the mood for Los Andes burger. It’s the best and we were tasting it. But, lo and behold, it’s NOT on the menu. It a great casual dish with cheese and bacon and fries on the side. Instead, my husband got the...steak which is always good. I got Chicken Los Andes. First of all, there were too many red onions. The chicken strips were very over cooked and there was so much sausage. It was a mild sausage, altho to me, it tasted like hotdog bites. If my eyes were closed, I’d swear I was eating hot dogs and cheese. Yes, there’s melted cheese also in the dish. i had the fries on the side, thankfully. It was the only good thing about the dish. It was in a yellow sauce that did nothing for the flavor. We really hope they put the burger back on the menu. It’s such a wonderful dish. It’s also good to have something not Peruvian on the menu that everyone enjoys. A cheese bacon burger with an ice cold beer sounds wonderful. It’s too bad i couldn’t order one. You did have the best.More

We had a group of 7 (bilingual) and we spent a wonderful 4 hours at Los Andres for a dinner to celebrate our getting together after 3 years. The menu is now bigger (and the prices higher), but the ambiance is improved. And, it's been...a successful transformation into a first-class, high end restaurant including valet parking. If you're in the area, and if you know Peruvian food, this is the place to eat!More

A mix of quality with very unique and sophisticated flavors. Blended with flavors from Bolivia and international cuisine. Worth the trip!

We had the best burgers! Huge portion. 8 oz of mixed prime ground meats with cheese and lots of bacon. Served with crispy thin onion rings and french fries. Cosmos were delish. No room for dessert. Enjoyed dining in their outdoor area.

We were visiting Providence over the weekend and wanted to try this restaurant that had such rave reviews. The reviews were worth it. The owner greeted us as we entered. Huge indoor and outdoor seating areas. Our server Steven was very friendly. We tried the...short rib and chicken empanadas and they were delicious. We then tried the ceviche, the rice with seafood and the fried seafood. Each was obviously quite different but had wonderful seasonings. The calamari was cooked to perfection in the rice. ( and very good in the other 2). It was challenging to pick from the menu because everything sounded so delicious. I wish we came here the first night so we could have come back for the second. We will definitely return the next time we’re in RI.More

Los Andes This VERY popular restaurant is NOT for everyone, and we fall into this category. First, it is far from downtown Providence in a residential neighborhood. Despite the fact that we had long standing reservations, and we even arrived early, we waited more than...35 minutes past our reservation time to be seated at a table. The hostess just unceremoniously moved us from waiting area to waiting area during this 35 minutes. Los Andes was jammed, packed to the rafters, and extremely, too, TOO loud. Our server and bus staff were pleasant and attentive, but it was difficult to hear them over the alcohol fueled patrons. While the appetizers were tasty (empanadas, Peruvian scallops and salad) the entrees were lacking. The paella was ridiculously huge, yet was flavorless and the ingredients were sub-par. The steak special and pork were also ridiculously huge portions, and were better options, but still not great. While many would consider Los Andes a great value (one entree could feed 4 people, or provide multiple meals in leftovers) huge portions of mediocre (at best) food is not our thing. IF we went back to Los Andes, and we most likely won’t, we would order appetizers and drinks and forego the oversized, mediocre entrees.More

I love everything about this restaurant. Everyone is so friendly, professional and accommodating from the valet drivers to the hostesses to the waiters to the owners. Service is impeccable and the food is out if this world. We tried the Causa Limina for an appy...which was outstanding and I had the salmon Aymara which was absolutely delicious. We are from out of town but whenever near Providence, we make sure to pay a visit.More

We had an amazing time at Los Andes- amazing food, flavors, portions and service! We started with fun cocktails and a huge order of ceviche. The ribeyes (pictured), short rib and paella were the popular selections for our group. We left fat and happy with...plenty of leftovers. Highly recommend a trip to Los Andes to anyone looking for an amazing South American feast!More

Very busy and loud. Even with reservations before 7 still a slight wait. Valet parking available which was good. Neighborhood is not one expected for the supposed level of this restaurant. We were dressed for a nice Saturday night but crowd was very casual. Service...was very good. Saltenas were excellent. Portions big but that was because most of the overfilled dishes were all rice. Pork shank very small. Paid high price for paella lobster and it was just ok. Nice guitar player going around to tables. Back corner table booth was small and very hot. Dessert dry. So excited to finally get reservations and then let down.More

I love the booths with plexiglass on either side. Felt safe and could hear our friends as the booth also kept loud voices out! Ambiance is lively in the beautifully expanded restaurant. It’s huge now! We g go ad the best dinner; paella for 2...(which they split) and 2 orders of the 10 oz ribeye which came with asparagus and instead of mashed potatoes, we substituted the vegetable fried rice. We asked for medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. There was a light sauce which made the dish absolute delicious. I hated to finish it was that good. Too full for dessert. My only complaint were the drinks, which we thought were fair. Still had to give 5 🌟. We’ll just skip the drinks.More
