We've been to Al Forno a couple times now and want to keep coming back over and over again!! The pizza was to die for!! Everything else was better than I could have dreamed of! Make sure you order dessert when you order your food, it well worth saving room for!!!

We went here on a Friday night. Hostess and Service were excellent. We had reservations but the people we were meeting were running late due to traffic, the hostess never made us feel pressured to sit, even though there was a long wait for people coming in without reservations and looking to be seated. Much appreciated. Waiter was excellent. We... More

We took my brother who was visiting from Maryland to Al Forno last week. He'd never been but had read about their dirty steak. We all share a pizza Margarita and stuffed squash flowers. Both were superb. My brother declared the pizza the best he'd ever eaten. He loved the dirty steak too and the fig tart for dessert was... More

You can never miss by dining at Al Forno. Their food quality and dining experience is without question one of the best and one of my favorite restaurants of all time anywhere! Can't say enough good things about the place.

Very nice experience, a bit pricey, but worth it for a special nite out. The pizza is the best, and the menu varies with the seasons. and is always delicious.

Pricey, but really excellent food. We went for an early dinner on a Friday night and did not need a reservation, but the spot definitely got more crowded as the night progressed. I was surprised at how many people had small children with them (for the cost). We had a pizza margarita and a pasta that had corn and a... More

It has been a year since we were last in Al Forno for dinner, and yet it seemed like only yesterday as we opened the menu. This is a Italian classic restaurant in that it provides a total package to the diner from the ambience of its space (we ate on the outside patio under the grape arbor) to its superior... My wife and I ate here three nights in a row on vacation. We rate this one of the world's great restaurants. What we ate: pasta in the pink with corn added, gnocchi in spicy red sauce, corn chowder, stuffed zucchini flowers, cherry tart; night two: buffalo mozzarella, red and yellow cherry toms, salted pesto oil sauce (Amazing!), spicy calamari,... Al forno has been hands down my favorite restaurant since I discovered it in the early 90's. Even though I live 3(!) hours away, I try to make it there every year. Just made the 2016 pilgrimage and am sad all over again that I can't visit more often. The grilled pizza is alone worth the trip, the best pizza... More

The food here is amazing! The grilled pizza is unbelievable and I even get it with no cheese. Their spicy oil is a must. There are long waits to sit at a table but usually you can find a seat at the bar and eat there. There's not much gluten free options for my boyfriend (no gluten free pasta even).
