This is a different kind of dining. You can choose the 4 course dinner. You choose some sort of cheese for the appetizer fondue. Then choose a nice salad. Entrée comes with chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, etc. You choose your broth and then they bring you all these wonderful sauces so you can dip. I love the curry sauce. Next... More

Visited for the first time and really enjoyed it. Went for lunch and wanted to keep it light- had the Wisconsin cheddar cheese fondue which was yummy. Finished with the s'mores dessert fondue which was awesome. The waitress was friendly, service quick. There was plenty of food- we left full and the quality was good. I like that the fondue... More

Our family of four visited the Providence location for the first time. The restaurant was buzzing and crowded. We waited late for a table, eager to try this fondue experience. We informed our server that we were first-time visitors and unfamiliar with the menu, ordering process, and choices available to us. The evening was a disaster. While the food, and... More

We had a much better experience the last time! Everything from the service, to the alpine cheese fondue and the Memphis BBQ pork bourguignonne style was absolutely delicious.

The whole meal was very disappointing, starting with the cheese fondue itself which had precious little in common with the real thing. The cheese was tasteless (we ordered the Spinach and Artichoke Fondue), it was served with, among other things, nacho chips, a total heresy, cut vegetables, another sacrilege, and rather average bread. We also ordered a plate of dried... More

Dining at the Melting Pot is a real adventure. I started with the delicious Spinach and Cheese Fondue which was accompanied with different breads, tortilla chips and granny smith apples. Next I thoroughly enjoyed the savory Caesar Salad that was enhanced with their house-made Garlic and Wine seasoning and fresh ground pepper. Then I feasted on the surface and turf... More

This place is definitely somewhere you should try. Everyone seems to be commenting on the price, because they are simply ordering wrong. Just as a tip, I have been going to this restaurant for 4 years and have never left feeling empty. For every 2 people in your party, you only need to order 1 four course meal. What they... More

Tasty and fun activity.....this is a meal you want to spent at least 2 and more hours spending time to get to know each other. If you enjoy a variety of different kinds of vegetables, breads, meats and fish, this is the place to go. Playing with food I call it! Also you can teach at the same time the... More

Great specialty restaurant for that romantic or special occasion .Give yourself at least a few hous to ear comfortably since you cook your own food in a fondue pot. All kinds of choices, meats ,seafood, chicken veggies ,cheese fondue and dessert fondue to follow Chocolate covered strawberries if you call in made fresh.

This was my second experience and it's a low value experience. The food is fresh and well prepared but the prices are expensive for what it is. There is nothing rare or spectacular about this food, nor are the portions outrageously large. Besides that, our server was either overwhelmed or deliberately didn't want to attend to us. We were a... More
