Blue States serves up delicious coffee, lemonade and other drinks and light fare along with a blue state sensibility. This New Yorker is looking forward to visiting Blue States Coffee again very soon despite the distance. Clean, neat with a cool vibe and delicious beverages... what more could one want? Walk right past Starbucks and carry on down to Blue... More

Stopped in for a coffee based on reviews and loved my Caramel Latte! Great taste! Coffee art with soy milk is a challenge, not here. Will Come through again on our next visit.

Always grab a latte or coffee "black" when I am in Providence. It is a casual spot with many teens working on their laptops and chatting in groups. Good vibe- but usually no open seats. The staff is friendly and there are a lot of items to order- I just love grabbing my cup and getting a great first warm... More

Blue state roasts their own coffee. That alone makes it worth the stop if you are in need of a break from the big coffee chains specializing in over-roasted coffee. The service was very good, the barista took time to make and excellent cup, and the coffee was perfect. They also carry a respectable selection of loose teas. The cafe... More

The coffee here was delicious. Seating was ample but full as you would expect a college campus coffee shop to be on a weekday afternoon. The wait in line was long and staff was not very kind nor helpful.

Small and standard selection of coffee. (Lattes, Tea, smoothies, etc.) it's spacious enough to hang out but nothing special. Don't get me wrong.. the mocha latte was good, i just wish there was more unique selections of coffee that will give me the WOW factor.

Blue State Coffee is a great place to grab a cup of coffee, catch up with friends, study or meet for a group project. There is plenty of space to spread out and do work and the coffee is delicious!

We stumbled into this place to get out of the cold and it was great. We had some delicious drinks and were able to relax while playing cards, undisturbed, for at least an hour. It was not the most cozy of environments, but it was clean and perfect for what we were looking for at that time!

A great change from the massive franchise/chain coffee places. Service was good and so was the coffee. Great location on Thayer St. I'd definitely come back.

Stopped by while visiting the East Side. The place was clean and the staff was polite and courteous. Recommended stop for coffee and pastries.
