Not as upscale as it used to be. More like a bar and restaurant combo now. Limited menu, choices are good just not enough of them. The dishes don't exactly match the descriptions on the menu. Nice outdoor seating looking towards town.

The mountains have loads of historic old hotels, but Mary's Lake Lodge is most certainly one fine "old lady" from the days when railroads built these destinations for the traveling American public. Step into the hotel lobby and you are spun back in time. A...More

The place has a nice atmosphere but the food was mediocre. A pricey baked halibut was overcooked- very thin and rubbery. We had 3 pasta dishes at the table and only one came with any bread - two silver dollar sized 1/2" pieces hard as...More

The atmosphere was nice but their food wasn't appealing to me. Estes Park calls trout to me and their trout just didn't do it. Four of us ordered it and had the same opinion. Hope it was just a bad night in the kitchen.

We stopped in for an appetizer and drink. We ordered the antelope and elk sausage with sauerkraut and mustard. It was delicious!! They have 15 beers on tap and 6 wines, including Nobilio Sauvignon Blanc. The best view in Estes Park!!!

We arrived fairly late for dinner, approximately 9pm. I ordered a chicken pasta dish. The chicken was tough and dry as if cooked hours earlier. My daughter ordered lasagna. I understand this type of dish must be cooked ahead of time, however, if it was...More

We were staying in one of the condos for the week so decided to try this place for a late lunch and we were glad we did. Our waitress was wonderful. Always was making sure our drinks were full and if everything was good. We...More
