The onion rings are are awsome. The beers on tap were all good. The wild game sliders were awesome. The customer service was great. The tavern/restaurant has a great historic lodge feel and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend!

We went back to Mary's Lake Lodge after 7 years. The place has changed a bit , added the brewery and are planning on having music and entertainment this summer. The food is good hearty fare. I had the onion soup which was quite good and my spouse had the fish and chips and a hefty portion of each.

A neat place. The menu tells you the history and the menu is relatively diverse and quite good. I liked the Big Game Sliders, which is a blend of boar, elk, bison. Very good, I think I would have liked it to be a slider of each meat but the taste was great! I really liked the cranberry cider as... More

Let me start by saying it was a bit difficult to find this spot, not to mention finding a parking lot once we got there. The restaurant itself is cozy with lots of rustic touches. Good drinks, decent food but nothing spectacular. Friendly, good service.

We heard about this place from friends and thought we'd give it a try. The restaurant is large but broken up into two spaces as well as a patio deck, so there was still a sense of coziness. There is a nice selection of beer and wine and the food was good. I'd recommend the mac and cheese with bacon,... More

We got chatting to one of the locals the day before and we asked where to go for a good breakfast and he recommended Tavern 1929, food was good, service was good too, and reasonably priced too.

Read the reviews and decided since we were staying there we would go to dinner. Now we only had soup Cheezy Chicken Tortilla soup. It tasted okay but did not sit well the rest of the night. Service was great, beer was cold perhaps if we had ordered something else but alas we did not. You would be wise to... More
