Enjoyed the food and service. The atmosphere was pleasant, comfortable, romantic, and suitable for the area of Estes Park. This is a nice and unassuming establishment.

After a busy afternoon dealing with crowds coming and going from the t-shirt shops, taffy stores (although I would recommend "The Taffy Shop"), and ice cream places ( a lot like being at home in Florida), we needed some place for dinner away from all...More

Beautiful, lodge style restaurant. The server was very good & got our drinks & order quickly. We thought the food was a little bland for our tastes

I assure you that I wrote an authentic review of my experience at your restaurant. I am sorry for the typo in the review. I did not catch the word "are" before I hit submit. However, as I said in my review, the hostess the night we were there (as soon as you opened that day so that we would miss the dinner rush hour) WAS rude to us. As I said, this was a few years ago. At the time, there was a business on Moraine Ave called "The Bistro" that was in an old gas station or perhaps it used to be a convenience store. It was before you reach Mary's Lake Road, on the right hand side as you head toward the National Park. At any rate, we didn't wish to have that kind of atmosphere for our anniversary dinner. You may perhaps ask around about The Bistro so that you know that there WAS a restaurant in that kind of building. I think they later moved to St. Vrain, and now they appear to be out of business. So, I have no idea why you would say that it isn't an authentic review. Perhaps your hostess was having a bad night, I don't know. I can only review what happened to me.

Surrounded by the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains, the Twin Owls Steakhouse is Estes Park’s premiere fine dining destination. Located on the grounds of the Black Canyon Inn, we are tucked away just to the north of the rush and bustle of downtown Estes Park. The rough-hewn logs, broad-plank hardwood floors, moss rock fireplaces and the rustic charm of a 90 year-old log cabin are joined with all the amenities of a modern restaurant in each of our three dining rooms. Whether you’re joining us for a wedding reception, a business dinner, a family Christmas party or an intimate night out for two, we take pride in ensuring that every guest who steps through our doors has an experience to remember. Our menu has been carefully crafted to please the entire family, and includes a broad selection of steaks, wild game and seafood, along with a kids’ menu and an irresistible dessert selection. We also offer an extensive wine list, local craft beers and hand-crafted cocktails.
