Loved the service and the food. We were able to get right in. There was lots to choose from. The fried cheese sticks were great. There were four of us and everyone loved their food. I would recommend to place to everyone.
Restaurant isn't much to look at (and is clearly an old Pizza Hut), but the food is always delicious. Favorites include garlic bread, eggplant parmesan, and anything with fettuccine. I've also had their pizza and loved it. Staff is friendly and helpful.
We were looking for a less expensive option to many of the other restaurants in Estes Park and we found this place. We are so glad we did! The Chicken Parmigiano was baked instead of fried (yay!) and we loved it! You need to make...reservations and plan to take your time since it took a while for them to take our order once we were seated, and to bring us our bill after we were done. (That is why we are giving this 4 stars instead of 5.)More
Food was pretty good, but the experience was not great. Made a reservation for 2, and had to wait for call in orders for 10 minutes before being sat. Once we were seated, nobody came to our table for over 20 minutes! 3 other tables...who came in behind us got their orders in and drinks before we were greeted. I tried to flag down a waitress, which was met with the her sticking her finger up to me to motion to wait. She never came over. Another younger waitress came running to our table about 3 minutes later. She never asked if we wanted to drink, and Had to ask for the wine list. We ordered calamari which came out lukewarm and chewy - not crispy at all. I ordered the chicken parmigiana, which came out with about 12 bow tie pasta. My husband had chicken Marsala which was pretty good. We were there for almost 1.5 hours with a half full restaurant, which was aggravating. Sauces were all good, but portions very small.More
We arrived without reservations and they were already booked for the evening, but when you arrive for dinner at 4:40, they were able to work us in. So glad for their willingness to do that because the food was delicious. Outstanding. Will definitely revisit if...we return in future. Everyone was wearing masks which we appreciated. Great food!More
You need to experience this place! Incredible sauces and pasta. I had the angel hair pasta with homemade meatballs and meat sauce. The sauce was so rich and delicious! Don't forget dessert - cannoli's and tiramisu are fabulous choices!
This restaurant is on our list every time we visit Estes. This is year 3 of us returning to eat here.
Small town vibe, that puts the chain Italian restaurants to shame. We had Chicken Parmesan & Seafood Alfredo, and both were excellent!!!
Fresh, hot,...and perfect portions. The bread is homemade, and is a perfect pairing. The house Chianti went with the meal wonderfully, and tiramisu for dessert was excellent!!!
Not a single criticism to share, only happy bellies!!More
This was our first visit to Sweet Basilico - we ordered two gluten free pizzas - a margherita with added canadian bacon and an hawaiian. Both were delicious. The crust is soft, flavorful, and somewhat fluffy - a rather unusual but welcome trait for a...gluten free crust. The pizzas are 10 inch - it would be great to offer a larger size with that tasty crust. The only down side was that there were only 3 thin slices of canadian bacon on the margherita pizza - seemed a bit chintzey. The hawaiian seemed to have a slice or 2 more of meat. We really enjoyed the pizzas despite the seemingly light application of meat. They had the right amount of cheese - not too much, not too little. We ended up ordering two more pizzas on another night - another gf hawaiian and a gf house. Again, both pizzas were tasty - the crusts really setting the successful foundation. Our only suggestion would be to be a bit more generous with the meat toppings. We are not talking about smothering the pizzas in additional meat but a few extra slices would make the small pizza size more satisfying.More
