Restrooms are about 90 degrees. Bread was cold. I saw a mouse run across the floor as I was leaving.

We have been to Estes Park many times and finally tried the Sweet Basilico Cafe. We've been missing out. Fast, friendly service. Great food options to choose from. We will be back!

We usually visit this establishment each trip to Estes. seated promptly with reservation, only problem was waitress took her sweet time in bring tea and taking our order. Husband started he wanted unsweetened tea, she kept repeating didn’t have sweet tea, we had to almost...holler at her to get point across. I ordered chicken Alfredo with was as usual very good and lots of food. Hubby had Cannelloni stuffed with beef and spinach, also good. Hopefully when we return won’t have the same waitressMore

Several years ago I heard favorable comments about the Sweet Basilico Café in Estes Park. Then the restaurant’s local relocation, delayed opening and pandemic issues kept me away for too long. Finally, on a nice autumn weekend, my wife and I along with a friend...went with our reservation for a late Sunday lunch. On entering the busy dining area, we were greeted by the tempting aroma of Italian food. We were seated at a booth where a friendly waitress brought menus and water. We started with garlic bread and garden salads for my wife and our friend and they each selected a meal of Eggplant Parmesan and ice tea. I had a Caesar salad and a meal of Ravioli Mushroom Marsala with a glass of Riesling. The eggplant dishes were declared the best ever eaten in a restaurant. My ravioli with mushrooms was full of rich flavors and the Riesling was fine. We were glad to have finally visited the Sweet Basilico Café. We also boxed servings of tiramisu and lemon cake for desserts at home the next day.More

I love Italian food. This place is great! The red sauce is so good. It has a tang maybe and just right. Chicken parmigiana very nice. Great garlic on the garlic bread. Nice staff.

We're from NY and it's not easy to find good Italian food in Colorado. Sweet Basilico was recommended to us and we were skeptical but we tried it and we were wrong. Great Italian food! No, the bread and the mozzarella are definitely not like...you get on the East Coast, but everything was delicious. Between 4 of us, we had 3 appetizers, 4 main courses, and 2 desserts. Wine list is decent and the prices are quite reasonable.More

Excellent food, fair price $64 for two, but flies in our food, in our drinks, in our appetizer, in our bread, on the light above the table, etc. Just ick. At one point a fly got stuck in my pasta sauce and could not get...out and that is when I stopped eating. Pestered by abundant flies indoors the entire time we ate there. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Swatted a fly off my face and it died on the table. Just gross. We told our wait person that there are abundant flies - an entire meal inside spent swatting and shooing flies - and she said "Yeah, I know." Gross. Won't go back until the fly infestation is under control.More

A nice restaurant close to the town centre, with great menu - almost everything is available in gluten free version as well.

We had dinner at Sweet Basilico on a weeknight - myself, husband, son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren ages 6 and 3. It was lovely sitting on their shaded patio by the river. The only negative I can say was that I personally didn't care for...their Italian Dressing as I found it rather bland. Our entrees were fantastic - two got the mushroom cheese ravioli and two the lasagna bolognese. I would have a hard time ordering anything else - my husband and I split them. The girls had split a bowtie pasta with marinara sauce and ate it all. We were too full for dessert, but ordered pizza to go for dinner the next night since we would be packing to go home. It was also really delicious. We visit Estes Park every year and will be making a return visit there. I will add that the place was packed and surely understaffed as everything is these days, but our server was very organized and friendly.More

Absolutely great Seafood de la gente with lots of vegetables,a lighter dish but filling. The seafood Alfredo was also great and heavy and filling. Definitely get the garlic bread, soft buttery garlic. Skip the side salads.

It's a nice location next to the stream, but kind of loud with the game park. The service was fine. There's a decent variety on the menu, but the food was fairly average with no really great flavors. The cannelloni was ok and the angel...hair pasta with artichoke hearts and mushrooms and pesto sauce was nice. The rolls were kind of hard and not very tasty. It was just an average meal.More

Excellent meal at a great price. Fast service however we arrived at 5:00 and by the time we left the place was full but the staff was keeping up. On vacation and if we return to Estes Park I would eat here again.

Just very average food and not authentic. Everyone left some on their plate. Service was good, but if you want really good Italian this is not place. No one had pizza but the pizza's looked good.
