We ended up eating breakfast and dinner here on the same day. Breakfast was good- I had a skillet and my SO had oatmeal and an omelette. Our server was ok- not much for conversation, couldn't get her to smile, but she was efficient. We returned for dinner after our first choice had a 45 minute wait. Our server was... More

We passed this restaurant every time we went into and exited Rocky Mountain Park. One day we decided to stop to eat and walk through the shops. We were not disappointed. There was an extensive menu and we easily chose what we liked. The service was friendly and satisfactory. We then enjoyed the shops!!

This place has it all. I was not looking for innovative cooking, but a place with a great view. I am surprised they are ranked so low. The view is amazing (I read that #1 breakfast is next to a supermarket, no thank you, not when I am here for the view) The view is just breathtaking, the staff is... More

Good service, food, ambience. I'm a local and The Other Side is always a good choice. I love the pond and views.

We went there for a late lunch after riding the Trail Ridge Road of the Rocky Mountains Nat'l Park from Grand Lake. The service was attentive and fairly prompt, the prices reasonable, but the menu wasn't very exciting nor the food anything but fairly ordinary... not bad, not great.

My wife and I ate a dinner and two breakfasts here while we were visiting Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park. The view from the dining room downstairs is gorgeous, too bad the food doesn't match the view. They have an ambitious menu - but a tad expensive. I had a steak which was somewhat thin and, despite ordering it medium rare,... More

Located at the start of any development coming out of RMNP, this place is sort of hidden in a strip center on the south side of 36. Please do not miss it. You Will see lots of cars there, and for good reason. Very good food and fair prices. The hostess gives you the option of two rooms, one more... More

Went for dinner after visiting Estes Park for the day. We were seated right away and it was not crowded. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Restaurant is out of the way and a little hard to find but worth it! Big portions of food and it's delicious! Very pricey which we expected since we were close to Estes Park. Would... More

This is the second time we had the trout at The Other Side. Absolutely delicious! Normally we don't order the trout because they usually over-cook it. Not so at this great restaurant with the duck show while you eat dinner overlooking their private pond. The service by Filip and Susan the hostess were amazing.

We stopped twice after hiking. They always had a selection of lunch specials that were fair value. Good service. Convenient location on a busy corner just outside Estes Park on way to Mary's Lake or Rocky Mountain National Park entrance.
