We ate dinner here twice while visiting Estes Park. The food was very good. Comfort food, but well done. Moderate cost. The staff were very friendly and the owner is a sketch! Not open for breakfast.

This restaurant was located next to the Alpine Trail Ridge Inn and was very convenient. We ate here twice and loved the rustic charm and the fabulous food. Cecilia was our waitress and we just loved her. Great food at great prices. Desserts to die for. If you go you must have the Forest Triple Berry Pie! This is a... More

Our larger family group ate here recently and enjoyed the meal. We had a variety of plates from the prime rib to the trout and found the food to be good, but not exceptional. Our server, although friendly and fast, did not think to refill our water glasses as they became low and did not remember to honor those at... More

after days of standard US hotel food this came as something of a find! Local produce at the fore and food that was well cooked and presented and didn't place a strain on the waist line! experienced and attentive staff who really knew how to respond to you as an individual. Worth noting that If you stay in the adjacent... More

A cordial staff, great trout, and western decor make this a family favorite. The menu meets the needs of everyone no matter the age and for meals from breakfast through dinner. Big windows give your dining an outdoor feeling.

I ate here on two occasions, getting prime rib once and the trout a second time. I found both to be unexceptional. Not bad, just nothing to write home about. I did have chocolate silk pie which was probably one of the worst desserts I've ever had. Way too sweet. Service was average and the ambience was unspectacular. Go to... More

Was different than the usual. We had the smoked trout and BLT. It tasted great, the food wasn't the problem. The service was slow and we were never offered refills on our drinks? Our food arrived before the waiter strange? They were pretty busy it could be a one off?

We were in Estes Park with a group of Boy Scouts. We planned to find good local eats each evening after being out on the trails and water each day. We walked in to Sundeck (which does not describe the restaurant) and were almost turned away because there were 8 of us. They were not full, and when we offered... More

We went for trout--$24? No, looked for something else. Chili rellenos--made with jalapenos? Passed on those. Cheese enchiladas-- cheddar cheese filled corn tortillas, an ok green chili, cheddar cheese (not even warm enough to melt the cheese.) Side of lettuce (white no green), sliced black olives and tiny cubed tomatoes. This is old style food. I grew up in Colorado... More
