I heard this place may be closing, which is a shame. It's well located between downtown Estes Park and the national park entrance. From the windows, you can see the mountains. The service is prompt and attentive, and the food was quite good. We had the buffalo sausage and the trout almandine. They have a parking lot, but finding the... More

We spent the day in Estes Park, and stopped at the Sundeck for lunch before heading into the main street shopping area. Sundeck is restaurant that reminds me of a mountain lodge- very cute mountain decor for the area its in. We could tell it is very popular with the locals, because their was a lot of friendly folk chatting... More

Fodd was good, mid-priced, family atmosphere. Interior looks to be several years old, needs an upgrade, but the staff is very friendly and the food is good.

We visted here twice for dinner and once for lunch. We were told that the restaurant has just been sold and was closing in a couple days and no one seemed to know about its future. Anyway, we had delicioius dinners and a lunch. Our server fileted our mountain trout at our table for us. She said she'd been doing... More

Good food, good service, not much wine list. You can watch elk grazing across the street. Three apple cheeked lovelies greeted us at the door.

We had a good dinner of local fish and a special with Norwegian salmon. The dinner was good and filling. The salad was fresh. I will admit the bread was dry, but overall a good experience. I believe the owners are selling the restaurant after 50 plus years.

It was very near where I was staying and so tried it out. The prime rib was cooked perfectly . My daughter had chicken strips which were ok. It is across from a meadow where there were tons of elk. It was also the most expensive meal I had the whole trip. This is their last year as they are... More

In years past this was an essential stop for us when we were in Estes Park. But gradually it changed. The food did not go down in quality, in fact it is unusually good, but the prices have continued to rise. Not only did the entrée prices rise, but the menu was reconstructed which made the different sides 'ala carte'... More
