I am an Estes Park local and my family and I dined here tonight for my mom's 70th birthday. This restaurant is under the new ownership of Shad and Jessica Theroux. Owner/Chef Shad greeted us soon after we sat down which made us feel welcome immediately. We started with some appetizers of spinach and artichoke empanadas and sweet corn fritters.... More

Dining room is 102 years old, beautiful setting, rustic charm. I had the filet, my wife had the lamb, and friend had the chicken. All delicious. Finding chef prepared food is difficult in Estes Park, so this place is a treat. Desserts are large enough to share. Staff was very friendly. Attentive, yet not overbearing. Answered all of our in... I give the food 5 stars and the attitude and helpfulness of the staff 5 stars. However the service is slow and a little scattered. Plan on two hours for dinner. Food took an hour to reach our table.

We and our friends ate here for dinner. The meal and service were outstanding. From drinks to dessert, you will not find a better meal here and possibly in the entire state. Eat here!

We came here on our anniversary and last night in Estes. When we arrived at 6 we were the only ones in the dinning room. We were seated by doors that opened to a balcony with a spectacular view of the Estes valley and the Stanley Hotel. Scotty was our waiter and he was fantastic. We order wine and some... More

We dined at The View again on our annual trip to Estes Park. We went on a weeknight and the place was not too busy. They did have a somewhat limited menu but did have choices for beef, chicken, and fish in addition to other options. I ordered the short ribs which I had last year. The short ribs had... More
