We were quickly seated - in the bar area, but that was fine with us. We all had burgers, and were were able to try different types of meats such as yak and bison. The burgers were very good. The fries were good too. Our server was not into small talk, just took care of business.

My husband and I chose this place for an early dinner while on a birthday trip to estes park. Highly recommend setting on the patio. You can enjoy the mountain views while enjoying your meal. My husband had the yak burger and onion rings and I had a regular burger with sweet potato fries. Both meals were delicious. The staff... More

My boyfriend and I both got burgers here. He got a yakburger and I got an elkburger - and both were great! I was afraid that the burger format might ruin the flavor of the meat, but they knew just how to prepare them and had tasty sides as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a must-eat in... More

Not only great food and drinks but look around. This is one of the original buildings. I believe they said it was a bowling ally back in the day. There's lots of neat history on the walls. Wait staff was good as well. We went mid-afternoon and it was not busy.

This was the first time I ate a yak burger and the waitress steered me in the right direction. She was correct when she said it was sweet and tender. Enjoyed every bite. On the other hand, our friends ordered the ribs which they shared. My girlfriend had the dry slab and her husband had the soft melt off the... More

Grubsteak just keeps calling us back. We always get the onion rings as the batter is excellent and they are sliced nice and thick. The burgers made with different types of game along with beef are all very good.

The food was good but the history hanging on the walls was really cool. Kind of like a mini museum. Parking in the area is annoying so expect to walk here.

My husband and I had lunch here after exploring RMNP. They have a nice selection of burgers, different toppings and choices of burger meat. I opted for the veggie burger with guacamole. My husband got the beef bacon bbq burger. Both were very good. The buns are the crispy sweet kind... Very tasty!!! The service was very friendly. They do... More

We decided to try this while walking down the street looking for a place to eat. The prices are pretty comparable with other similar type restaurants in the area. But, I felt $11 for a chicken sandwich with a small dish of coleslaw was slightly overpriced. I expect to pay higher prices in a tourist town and all, but seriously.... More

We came here on the recommendation from our hotel. We sat outside on the nice covered patio. We were all happy with our meals. My elk Shepard's pie was a delicious hug. My teenage son could not finish his pasta but loved the antelope sausage that came with it. My husband and other son gave a thumbs up for the... More
