Really good burgers. Get a beef burger. They are delicious. The elk burger was a bit tough for my taste. Good fries. Everything is made fresh. Can dine in or take it to go.

This is a good place for a burger. It's in the middle of busy season so it's packed, but I enjoyed it.

If you want a good burger, they have it. Located downtown, it is a nice convenient spot to eat and do some shopping

We stopped in after a full day of sightseeing. We were tired and looking forward to some comfort food. The reviews were mixed. We thought we would take a chance. The only thing world famous about this place was its prices! We paid $5 more two nights before at the Outback and we were completely full and 100% satisfied. Not... More

I went here for lunch with high hopes despite the mixed reviews. I ordered a burger basket which comes with fries. Drinks are separate. The place was very busy and small so there wasn't anywhere to sit. Took my meal to a nearby bench and it was okay. The fries were definitely the highlight.

Mixed review from family. Elk burger and sweet potato fries were good but the regular hamburger and fries were not up to par. Tasteless.

Had to say the burgers were good and the fries were hand cut old fashion very good. I did order one of the special burgers and it wasn't made with all the items indicated. The hot dog was ok. The atmosphere was good friendly service. However it is a small place and if you have more than 4 people in... More

I tried grubsteak yesterday and got a prefab meat patty. Penelope's though, has the highest quality beef you could have for a burger! A quirky little throwback 1950's atmosphere but their hand cut fresh french fries and burgers are as good as it gets for burger lovers. I tried the chipotle burger and fries and it would win a burger... More

We ate at Baba's and Penelope's and IMO, Penelope's wins hands down. The service was decent and the burger and fries were both great. I had the buffalo burger and also part of an elk burger. They really know how to do a good wild game burger!

Visited Estes Park and needed to feed the family. Saw the sign stating "World Famous Hamburger" and thought we would give it a try. They supposedly have wild game meat for burgers. Ordered the Elk and Buffalo burgers along with to regular kids hamburgers. First thing noticed was the price. $11.00 for burger and fries, then add another $2.50 for... More
