Fish was fresh but guess I just didn't like the flavor. Waitress was very nice. Was not the cleanest place.

This place is doable. It isn't fantastic, or anything you would write home about, but it isn't horrible either. The service was good, the food is decent, the atmosphere is pleasant (if you are in the "lounge". You might possibly find something in the little gift shop, to send home, though. Fun trinkets.

My husband and I stopped for take out because we were traveling with our dog. They do not have outdoor seating. Service was very good and they gave us all the essentials to eat our meal back in our room. Fried calamari excellent. Clam chowder very good, maybe just a little too thick for my taste but taste was very... More

I was getting an early start home and stopped here for breakfast when the other place i had planned to go was closed. I'm glad it was. The coffee was hot and plentiful, service was good, eggs scrambled, biscuit toasted and my hashbrowns were perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The perfect fuel to start my... We had dinner one night and breakfast one morning at Fisherman's. We often eat here when in Crescent City. The food is good, the prices reasonable and the people are so friendly. The omelets are huge and delicious and the fish and chips I had for dinner were amazing - some of the best I have had.

Enjoyed the fish and chips immensely. Had omelets for breakfast, and they were also excellent. Order smaller portions because the quantity of food is overwhelming. Soup in a bread bowl was a little disappointing, with way too much garlic (and I am fond of garlic). Most of the seafood is locally caught, a big plus for me. Some of the... More

One of the worst meal I've ever had! The steamer clams were floating in a sea of butter. The rice was soggy and salty. The clam chowder was too rich. The shrimp Louie salad was below average. I expected a lot more due to the high prices and left the restaurant hungry and very disappointed.

We had looked at other reviews of other restaunts but still weren't sure. So on our way to one of the others, we passed and turned around. We had quick service and good chowder. Worth the 8.99

The clam chowder soup tasted like it came out of a can, steak tasted funny and the potato was cold. Must have been a bad night for service too, drink came after dinner arrived and then she disappeared again. Finally got another server to get me a new potato which she said would be hot as she microwaved it. Will... More

I came upon the Fisherman's Restaurant as a third choice in Crescent City. The Grotto was closed and the Chart Room had an hour line up so I tried this restaurant. The food was very tasty and the service was excellent. My only complaint is that I ordered the pan fried prawns and they were served in a bowl of... More
