I found the initial seating a bit awkward, but our experience was good once seated. The prices were reasonable. It seems like a family owned operation, frequented by locals. My husband and I both got seafood. He thought the fried oysters were undercooked and too mushy. My seafood platter was perfectly cooked. They have a kids menu with kid friendly... More

Ordered salmon, grilled w chips. The chips were great, the salmon was hard and tasteless. They had cut the salmon in pieces (rather than a filet) and it must have been frozen for some time. Then overcooked to the point there was no flavor at all. A big disappointment. Salad bar small but healthy. A piece of pie was free... More

The Restaurant is located across the street from our Hotel the Curly Redwood lodge. The sea food was fresh and well prepared. It was very crowded on the day we ate there. It seem to be one of the only places in the area open.

When you enter the resturaunt from the highway it look big, but once inside the room is average size. when we entered the hostess pointed to a back room and said "please go in there" we thought, a Back Room, invisable from the front? We went and were glad we did because it turned out to be the Lounge, and... More

We came here after a long day of travel. It was convenient (right across the street from Curly Redwood Lodge). I had the cod. My boys had sandwiches. The waitress was friendly and helpful. It fit the bill. Not too pricey, but really nothing to rave about.

We ended up quite late and did not have many options for dinner in the area. We decided on the Fisherman's Restaurant as it was the first restaurant we found still open after 8pm and closeby. Dinner was ok but not too exciting. The bread bowl clam chowder was okay, fish and chips had an odd taste (maybe chip fat... More

If you want fish and chips this is the place. Portions of fish were huge and some of the best we had. When vacationing you get so tired of fries and everything fried. We opted for the salad bar with it and the lettuce was wilted with very minimal veggies to go with it. Would have loved a vinaigrette to... More

We had the grilled oysters and chips as well as the grilled calamari. We loved the grilled seafood instead of having it fried. Have to admit the French fries were excellent.

Yes, I know you can't eat this way all the time, but sometimes deep-fried fish and french fries taste just great, and this was one of them. Probably should have had four time as much cole slaw, and 1/4 as many french fries, but that's not what this place serves. The service was swift and friendly, and the fried food... More
