We were excited to get fresh Fish and Chips. A local recommended it. I got Fish and Chips and Hubby got Shrimp and Chips. We split them both. The Shrimp and Chips was 6 shrimp...a lot of breading, not very big shrimp. The breading is Beer Batter, under seasoned. AND very thick breading equals pretty greasy. The Cod was fresh... More

This is run of the mill dining, the food is not very good, the staff was sweet but That don't cut it when it comes to the fish and chips, no quality and no bargain. we prefer the Chartroom by far unless you want a chilli burger thats the only item we found Okay at this place, sad to call... More

Right beside the 101 with plenty of good parking, this makes for a welcoming stop. You will get a good welcome and you will get great food. The prawn and chips ate lovely.

Go here. Genuinely nice people. Good food, better than average portions. Had a cod fillet and eggs (breakfast item avail all day). Fresh and really well presented. Meaty gravy with biscuits. Un-rushed feel and local flavor for decor. When traveling we stay away from chains when possible...this charming eatery has earned a place on our 'remember for next time' list.... More

We were staying across street and able to walk to the restaurant. Just had cheeseburgers and fries. Good enough for a quick meal but better than fast food. Kinda pricey but decent service.

We ate here on our way out of town and the food was great! The service was a little slow (they didn't bring my soup until they brought my meal, even though we asked to bring it early), but the fries were really good-super crisp!

If I were to microwave oatmeal to serve someone in my restaurant, I would at least stir it after it came out of the microwave so it did not have that pebbly texture made famous by microwaves. Enough said.

I hate to give negative feedback, but I feel it is only fair to share regardless of experience. We at Fisherman's Restaurant by referral from the hostess at Lighthouse Inn. Not sure if it was a bad night or typical, but it was very poor for a 6 pm dining experience. Clam chowder was bland & oily with little clam... More

Stopped for lunch. Fish and chips were excellent. Service was great. Right on the 101 easy access with our trailer.

When arriving we asked "is the fish was locally caught" & the reply was, " yes & very good".This is the best fish & chips and shrimp & chips we've had in a long long time. We also had deep fried mushrooms that were "fresh" mushrooms hand -dipped in a very light batter, as was the fish & shrimp. Everything... More
