We had family in town and do we went to the Butte for dinner. The waitress was very helpful and friendly to the many needs of our group with small children. Food was delicious and very filling. Will go again, for sure!

Pretty popular with locals, but that's because Kanab has no clear winner. Didn't see any evidence of people crossing state line just for the liquor, but it could be for some. SteAk and prime rib are reasonable.

This restaurant is great. It is clean and bright with great service and food. The portions are large and tasteful. Everyone I saw leave needed a box to go, including me. The waitress even made sure all who left had extra salad dressing, fry sauce, etc for their leftovers. And she did it all with a wonderful smile on her... More

Staying At Jacob Lake we ended up here while looking for a supermarket. We had tasty salads, and The owner was a very nice and pleasant woman. We saw professionalism while in other places we got very often into "improvised" staff. Good memory of a very small town. Weldone!

We took a local's advice and went to Cowboy Butte for dinner while we were in the area to see the national parks. My husband's boneless BBQ was tender and flavorful and my chicken fried steak was also tender and perfectly seasoned. Portions are large enough for two people so we had tasty leftovers for lunch the next day. Oh,... More

Were on way to Bryce and stopped in for dinner. Thought we might not even find a restaurant here. Large, tasty portions and friendly service. Glad we stopped in.

The prime rib special is delicious, the beef is tender and the seasoning is great. The burgers are great as well. The fries are hand made and are very good most of the time. I was a bit disappointed in the fries the last 2 times I ate there though as they were over cooked and not very hot. The... More

We live in the Kanab area and trust me this is the best place to eat and it is actually worth the price. Most of the restaurants in this area are over priced but Cowboy Butte Grill's food is worth the price. My husband had the New York Strip and I had the salmon and both were excellent. Our waitress... We had the greatest lunch here after visiting the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, on our way to Vegas . My BLT was phenomenal and while the menu says it comes with three slices of bacon, these were the three biggest slices I've ever seen. The french fries were delicious, and the server let us know that they were... More

Pleasant, affable waitress/proprietor, excellent salads, superb home-cut fries, hearty well-cooked burgers. Service rather slow when busy. Could do worse when en route to/from Kanab. Not outstanding but perfectly acceptable as a one-off dining experience.
