So nice to have non-Utah beer! excellent taste and since it s a bit of a dive, prices were great. Bartenderr was pleasant enough, good variety of alcohols and bottled beer, but the 4 drafts fit my liking just fine. so close to Kanab, well...worth the 5 minute drive, but don't expect fancy...More

After being in Utah for a couple of days, it was nice to be in a place with a more laid-back, relaxed attitude toward having a drink. It's a hole in the wall, but that didn't bother me in the least (from New Orleans). They...also sell bottles to go, which was a definite plus after being in UtahMore

The had about 5 taps with excellent craft beers and a full assortment of liquors. The bartender was extremely nice and you can meet a bunch of interesting local characters.

OK; this is the real thing. Supposedly it has one of the longest bars ever --- can't verify that. The fun thing is not only the very funky atmosphere but the history...this was once known as the "roll-away bar" because it sits right on the...AZ/UT border and on Sundays (Blue Laws in Mormon UT) they literally rolled the tavern across the border to stay open. Truly, I thought this was a local myth until a guide at the equally funky (wonderful) Moqui Cave showed me a photo -- jaw dropped to the ground so perhaps I'm still a fool but I love this story. Don't expect class but definitely a taste of local culture.More

It was a small red solo cup, on the rocks (don't do blended ones anymore) she put way too much tequila in it and not enough triple sec and margarita mix. Overpriced and gross and the bar tender was rude and passive aggressive.

The Buckskin Tavern is a great joint place to get a cold drink on a hot day. Back in the day, the place was jammed on the weekends when music groups would be booked, and the restaurant was going full-out serving some really fine food....The kids have grown up and most of 'em have moved on...so the Buckskin no longer serves food, and no longer books bands for the weekend. And and it might even be closed by now....last I heard it was for sale. But if it's still in business, and you are in need of a cold one on a hot day, then drive across the border from Kanab, Utah and stop by just north of Fredonia, Arizona. The Buckskin has the longest uninterrupted bar in the State...true story !!!More
