Savoy Grill has a friendly, upscale, but unpretentious atmosphere -- casual, but not gritty or loud. With a broad and interesting menu and wine list, their competent and responsive wait staff, skilled chefs, and knowledgeable wine steward gave us a delightful special occasion for our first visit. The prices are certainly higher than the Albuquerque average, but not excessive considering... More

A lucky find in Albuquerque while on a short visit. The grilled peach salad was delightfully refreshing, with fresh greens, peaches, blueberry, candied pecans with allspice, and a creamy but light buttermilk dressing with a hint of vanilla that perfectly complimented the peaches. We split a large order of the wood oven roasted prime rib cooked medium rare. The cut... More

After a bad experience at another steak house we tried this place since we have had good meals here in the past. It still serves good food and especially tender steaks! My wife had salmon which she said was also good. The waiter was very attentive and the prime rib the table next to us was having looked really good... More

The prime rib was outstanding, as was the service. Hottest horseradish I've ever tasted, but that only enhanced the taste. Highly recommend for a nice evening out.

Savoy grill has great food, great service, and a wonderful wine cellar. I have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. The portions are large, and the flavors wonderful. The wine steward offered great advise on wonderful wines each time. The noise level inside the restaurant is high, so be prepared to talk loudly about how good the food... More

I ordered tonight's special which was a shoulder cut steak covered with crab leg meat and Béarnaise sauce. I started with an avocado salad which was very good. However, the steak was so tough that I could barely cut or chew it. I ate only 1/4 of the steak and left the remainder. I love the other two restaurants the... More

Had dinner with friends. The Hostess was friendly, the bartender made a killer Gin & Tonic. Hendrick's with Cucumber garnish. We had dinner on the patio. Live music was good and food was excellent. Staff was super friendly and let us stay talking after closing while they cleaned up. Prices are reasonable as well.

You come to ABQ and you need to go to the New Mexican food places. When you are done with that and you want a quality dining experience for a great value, this is where you go. They have a great bar, outside sitting, great happy hour pricing and selection. They have a dining area that is well designed, quite,... More

Description
Abundant and beautiful California Wine Country in the Northeast Heights. Welcome to “Savoy”! A sun-filled, unpretentious but sophisticated, wine-friendly restaurant.

As you walk into the dramatic high-ceiling entryway, you are moved in all directions. To the East you have a frosted view of the tasting room, loaded with fresh flowers and walls of glass-encased wine. To the West you get a glimpse of the lounge bar leading to the vine-covered patio.

Light, open and airy with butter-colored walls, dark wood and black & white photography of wine country all come together to create an elegant yet surprisingly comfortable atmosphere in the main dining room. The dark and contemporary edge to the room is offset during the day with an abundance of natural light from large windows and three strategically placed skylights. That oven will be our culinary focal point for the exhibition kitchen, where our guests will see and smell the citrus roasted duckling, the roasted platter of shellfish
