Taco Tote has the best tacos in the ABQ, hands down. It's a casual atmosphere, inexpensive, and delicious. Everything is made fresh and from scratch and it's an open (and very clean) kitchen. Seriously the best cheap eats in town. They also serve some alcohol and they do have quite a few vegetarian options.

The taco are very good. Portions are a value for the price and the condiment cart has plenty of items. The place would benefit from more attention to cleanliness in the seating area, condiments and restrooms. Still a 4 becuase the food is good and the open kitchen looks clean

Come with an appetite and you will leave satisfied. I ordered the bruschetta platter and could not eat everything on my plate. The salsa bar is amazing with all the variety of salsas available. Try it... You'll like it!!!

Awesome little Mexican restaurant. Proper authentic Mexican, not TexMex. Some of those with more northern palates won't appreciate the beans and grains. I thought it was pretty good though. Tried the enchilada and burritos. Can't complain.

The food tastes like it sounds disqusting! The restrooms and lobby were very dirty i could only imagine what it looked like in the kitchen. They also got our order wrong and instead of making it fresh again they just transfered the ingredients into some hard old tortillas. We would never return nor recommend it to anyone!

El Taco Tote looks promising. Tortillas being hand-pressed at the front, a menu of classic grilled meat items, and a well stocked salsa bar. So what went wrong? First, the menu is unnecessarily confusing. Combos, and tacos and meats and sides are presented in

food was good, freshly prepared, but reminded me too much of fast food. Place was busy so that says something I guess, but I probably would not go back if I were in town. Perhaps if I lived in ABQ I'd make this a place to grab a quick bite cheap.

On the east side of Nob Hill, this is a great place to stop by if you are cruising Route 66. It's where the locals go! Their medium salsa is fairly hot by my standards-I did not grow up here in NM, but can eat rather fiery food. You order at the counter, they give you a number and bring... More

We are Midwesterners and this was our first trip to New Mexico. We stopped at El Taco Tote and fell in love with the salsa bar. You can try one new dip or several. They were kind enough to help us pronounce what we were ordering and even told us was few of the terms meant to help us with... More

I visit taco tote often and am never disappointed! The ingredients are so fresh and the food prepared perfectly. Definitely my favorite place to get some authentic Mexican cuisine
