In town for a golf weekend. Top restaurant in Nob Hill area. Chefs can be viewed at countertop seating, or from 2nd floor view. They are clear professionals who orchestrate with precision. Highly recommend the crab cake with bass. Waiter staff very professional. Well priced. Will return next time in Albuquerque.

This Wine Bar / Bistro has three separate seating sections. I sat in the "expo bar", at this bar you are able to see the chefs cook, and on the night I was there it was a cross between Top Chef and Hell's Kitchen. The food is wonderful and moderately priced. Although I don't drink, it had a very impressive... More

My wife and I were impressed by everything about our brunch here on Saturday, 11 Jun 2016. This was our first day in New Mexico, having arrived on a very late flight from LAX the night before. The menu is creative, the food was superb, and the service was warm and welcoming. I had a small green salad and crab... More

This place is for those who know a lot about wine and value fancy cuisine. The wine list is long and contains Spanish, Italian and French items as well. Their rather international cuisine mixes Chinese, Mexican and Indian flavors: potstickers, pork, naan, salsa, rice and lots of crispy veggies. Service is impeccable and helpful without being intrusive. The place is... More

Having had a large, late lunch, we'd opted to try Zinc, and we're glad we did. We chose three starters -- 2 lite portions of mussels and the duck egg rolls plus the full portion of wild boar sausage and polenta fries. Delivery timing was great; ditto for service in general -- some would quibble about bringing 3 sampler wines... More

We went on a Saturday midday, and it was the "deadest" I had ever seen it. There were maybe five parties in the entire place. Probably the waitstaff and cooking personnel were novitiates getting broken in. I won't belabor the exact ways we came to that conclusion. The brunch menu is somewhat limited. If you are vegan you would probably... More

Thank you for your review. The next time you are in, please make it a point to let us know that there is I vegan in the group. This way we can have our cooking staff make them something special. We will always make every effort to accommodate our guests and make sure they are happy with their meal. Again... More

This is a great local restaurant in the Nob Hill area of Albuquerque with a relaxed, yet upscale atmosphere. The menu has many unusual and delicious offerings. We always enjoy our meal and the wonderful service that they provide.

I went to Zinc with a group while visiting Albuquerque on a business trip. It was a very good dinner, and conversation was easy at the restaurant's volume level. The menu is a little difficult for special diets. I don't eat red meat, and there were very few selections that were suitable. If I didn't eat seafood, there would have... More

I will admit that I had misgivings about visiting a "wine bar" in ABQ. I'm glad that this was one of the few restaurants that kept their kitchen open late (past 10 PM). The service was very efficient and prompt. The menu was surprisingly diverse and eclectic. We tried three different appetizers--pot sticklers and ahi tuna were both terrific. All... More

Description
Zinc is a lively three level bistro in Historic Nob Hill. Featuring an open, urban ambiance, Zinc offers casual fine dining on the main level and the loft mezzanine. For those looking for an exciting show, the exhibition bar offers seats right along the open kitchen. The menu focuses on high quality - yet affordable - American bistro fare and utilizes seasonal ingredients, many of which are sourced from local farmers. The Cellar Bar offers the same extensive wine list and premium cocktails as the upstairs, but in a more intimate lounge atmosphere with a lighter menu. The Cellar also showcases live music on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, and a DJ every Friday. Visit www.zincabq.com for menus, pictures, and upcoming events!
