First we were welcomed and treat to a biscochito. Yum!! We ordered 2 pizzas and a sandwich. All were delicious. Love the green Chile dough. We left with empanadas and a lemon flaunts for later. Going back tomorrow for bread and cookies for the road.

Affordable hole-in-the-wall near Old Town starts your visit with a free biscochito--and a very good, light and crisp one. Order at the counter while eyeing all the breads and pastries. My friends and I shared a pizza--pretty good, but not great. I finished with a strawberry ice cream cone--looked better than it tasted. Still, it was a pleasant experience overall.... More

This long-standing local bakery is worth a visit for its delicious bread and other baked goodies. The green chili bread seems to sell out quickly, but they offer also other worthwhile varieties of buns, bolillos, and breads. The lunch/dinner menu is somewhat limited, mostly pizzas. However, they are tasty, even though a bit more expensive than in other national and... More

Just feeling good about getting my hair done and bragging to my stylist about this place. So I stopped by for a late lunch. New girl waited on someone else first, although I'd been waiting quite a while. Since I couldn't get a half sandwich ordered whole one with plans to save half for a future lunch. I was told... More

We have been dining around Albuquerque and come to find out Golden Crown Bakery was about 6 blocks from our vacation rental. First visit was to grab sweet treats for a dinner we were cooking in. Once we realized the offerings it quickly became the next dining in establishment we visited. Loved that we could choose specific dough for our... More

We ordered two pizzas, one with green chili dough & the other with peasant dough - both were so yummy! I had the coffee milkshake because I had read all the reviews & I was not disappointed. Quaint and small, but we loved the atmosphere! Everything was truly the BEST including the friendly wait staff! We will definitely be back... More
