we had friends from out of town travelling through Albuquerque, Since we knew they are used to very good food, coming from NY, we chose Ranchers Club. Wonderful NM atmosphere, which we wanted. The food was excellent! I am on a very special diet and had to make many modifications to the salmon that I ordered. The waitress was most... More

Just finished a great seafood dinner. My wife and I both order seafood tonight, that's not like us. Started with a Chiroz stuffed date, delicious soup are seafood meal and finished with Banana Bread Pudding for dessert. Staff checked on us very offen and was very friendly. The chief even shared the soup recipe with us. We enjoy this restaurant... More

This is the restaurant we go to for dinner on special occasions, mostly birthdays and anniversaries. They have the best Cesar salad, made at your table, and of course, the filet mignon is one of the best in the city. Great decor, and professional wait staff, with a large selection of wines.

We had a private function at the Rancher. The room was a great space that was Rancher style with comfortable couches and conversation space. For dinner I had a perfectly mesquite cooked bone in ribeye. The meat was tender and delicately smoked. The au gratin potatoes had a nice chili note and the veggies were perfectly grilled.

I had dinner with relatives on Christmas day, and for the first time in 10 years, we were more than disappointed. First, the menu offered very few choices (no more a la carte included). Second, the service could not have been less concerned or professional. A few examples: -We were still eating the first course when the waitress came with... More

Our family went on December 27 for a nice Christmas dinner. I found that the quality had deterior since our previous visit in September, 2015. Service was much poorer and although most of the food was very good, the vegetables on the main course arrived cold! Perhaps the server felt that with nine people his tip was already set so... More

One way to know a restaurant is declining precipitously is when the food and service is very uneven. FILET terrific! BAKED POTATO hard as a rock and steamed/cooked, not baked. Terrible! SALAD good not great SERVICE were it not a special occasion I would have tipped much less. The person was not johnny on the spot or very interested. In... More

Great filet, great salad and baked oysters! My Texas ribeye was very difficult to cut and tough to eat. Service took forever to get seated and then another hour to wait for our steaks and that is after finishing our appetizers and salad! Atmosphere was super with soft live music! I will go back and see if it was just... More

The atmosphere was lovely! The service was quite good. The drinks were well prepared. The meal? Not so much! The rib eye we had was NOT prime, although we were assured it was. It was properly cooked; but, so very tough. The crab mac & cheese was a joke - a flavorless one, at that! Our server was great! He... More
