When ever my wife and I have dinner at Casa Benavidez, we are welcomed as if we are family. Never have had a bad experience, Hector Pimental is always a joy to hear play his guitar. Beautiful area outside to enjoy the waterfall and surroundings.

I like to order double green chile sauce on the side and dip each bite of relleno. It is a spicy hot dish but if your taste buds are trained you can handle it.

We were seated in their pleasant outdoor patio on a lovely evening for dinner outside. Four of us ordered the carne adovada and one the chicken fajitas. There was a help wanted sign in the lobby for cooks and kitchen help which should have been the first indication of a problem. We are New Mexico natives so know good from... More

We used ot go here when I was growing up and have not been for 10 years. No matter: still a great place for classic NM style food. Great menu options, simple plates of more than adequate size and amount, with a bit of a ZING on the hot side which is routine. If you do not like at least... More

The food here is always good. Seems quite authentic with very tasty chili and a great variety of fresh enchiladas, burritos, etc. The service is excellent. They serve a house wine that is very good and serve an excellent selection of margaritas. The dining room overlooks a water fall and beautifully landscaped area near the patio seating. I highly recommend... More

I've eaten here three times in the past week. The salsa is the best I've ever had. The carne adovada was completely devoid of fat and had the perfect red chile bite. The chile relleno was large, well filled, fresh and crunchy. The chicken chile relleno could have used more cheese but was still good. The service was first rate.... More

We visit New Mexico to see friends and each New Mexican cuisine. OK, so we also do other things, but these are high on the list! We have visited many times but this was our first time to Casa de Benavidez, and it was a lovely change to our itinerary. The food was very good - not my favorite green... More

Very nice restaurant with a coy pond and water fall. There is seating inside and out. The wait staff was very pleasant and helpful. We all had a traditional meal which was fresh and tasty. It was a great time to catch up with old friends.

My wife and I went here for an early dinner after work. We were seated on the patio which, aside from the passing, noisy car, was a pleasant experience. They had live music as well. The service was, unfortunately, slow. However, when we did have the attention of our waiter we were serviced just fine. The food, I thought, was... More

We went to this place from a recommendation of a friend. We pulled up and went in a door. Not looking above the door which says "coffee shop" It looked like a fast food place but we went ahead and ordered and sat down to eat when I saw some people coming out of this other door. I asked the... More
