I love this little restaurant! Best burritos ever and my favorite is the carne adovada burrito; meat is incredibly tender and red chile us perfect!! Support local!!!

Great inexpensive lunch. We all had green all meat burrito with a side of rice (there's lots of cheese in the rice) and lemonade. Sat on the patio and enjoyed. Low on ambience but food was quickly made and tasty. Staff was friendly too.

Brick & Mortar - Is this place somewhere you'd bring a date for a romantic dinner? Probably not. That's ok! With just a couple of tables, you're probably going to eat on the run, anyway. It looks like the staff generally keeps the place clean...and tidy. I can't ask much more. Food - The menu is somewhat limited in scope, but that's why I visit Acapulco in the first place. They focus on a few items and keep the quality high. I've never had anything that I didn't enjoy here. My favorites are the Red Regular Burrito, the Machaca Burrito, and the Carne Adovada Burrito. All are well made, reasonable portions, and delicious. Service - Despite limited staff, and the fact that they can get quite busy sometimes, the longest wait I've had from order to pick-up is about 7 minutes. I'll wait for quality. Take whatever time you need. Staff is friendly and courteous. That means quite a lot when I'm ordering through a limited window at your service counter. Price / Value - I've been pleased with the portion for the price. I don't expect a huge burrito (unless I get El Burrote!), but I've sure never needed more than what I've ordered. The flavors are what bring me back for more. Bottom Line - It's not fancy, but you probably know that when you arrive. It sure is good, and you'll be back sooner than later. I know I will.More

Went to the new Cedar Crest location and ordered a combo plate and guacamole for $18!! Service was slow - I'll let that pass as they are brand new. I received what I think was supposed to be an enchilada - was cold and the...corn tortilla on it and the taco were both oily and tasteless. The taco fell apart. The burrito is a combo of pasty refried beans with chunks of pork and shredded beef all mixed together -not a very pleasing texture/combination. The guacamole comes out of a giant vat of pre-made or at least that's how it tasted. The salsa is hot but tastes like salsa you'd get in New York city. The rice - well what can I say about the rice other than it is not mexican and was terrible tasting. East Mountain locals are raving about this place and I'm pretty sure none of these people know what real mexican food tastes like. I hate to say it but I'd rather take my chances at Taco Bell than here. It was really bad. I will give them another try in a month or so - I know they're new and maybe they have improved.More

Are you looking for high quality, inexpensive burritos and tacos? This is the place. There's a cute patio area in the back where you can sit at picnic tables. Or take home. My favorite is the #1 red chile burrito. Acapulco never fails.

I was craving burritos for breakfast before my long drive home and actually spent quite awhile googling for Mexican places open earlier. Acapulco was pretty much the only place open and I can never resist road side/ hole in the wall restaurants. I had a...red chile pork burrito and it was phenomal. Can't wait to be back in Albuquerque so I can have another!More

I have eaten at dozens of Mexican Restsurants in Albuquerque, New Mexico and if this is the same restaurant's second location then they offer the absolute-BEST-MEXICAN CUISINE in Albuquerque. This location is a small Mom & Pop Taqueria, on the corner of Cadalaria and Wyoming...in a small A-Frame facing Wyoming Street next to a 7-11, and a Funiture rental store. What they lack in atmospere is eclipsed by their excellent cooking of the most traditional Mexican Dishes. They make the World's Best and Largest Pork, Chille Verde Buritto, It's as large as tray, and they toast your two giant tortillas on the grill. They are simply the Best in Albuquerque, DO NOT MISS this wonderful, culinary, delightful and delicious experience when visiting Albuquerque, New Mexico.More

This is a tiny establishment. You walk up to a window and order. There are a total of two - yes, I said "Two," picnic tables to eat at. You don't eat here if you're looking for somewhere fancy. You don't eat here if you're...expecting linen napkins and waitstaff. You eat here because the food is delicious. The burritos might just rival anywhere else for the best in town. The prices are very reasonable. The food is great. Grab your appetite and head on over for a foil wrapped burrito that will both enchant and surprise you.More

You eat there for the best burritos and not for the ambience. The cooks have worked there for years and make great red chili, chicharrones, and more.
