Wow, stopped in after suggested by local- good call! Classic "Diner" motif and feel! OLD facility but well maintained- they have the old school order from your car speaker stalls! Ordered the 1/4 size burrito and WOW - it was huge! Can't imagine the full size?? Great service - attentive and very knowledgeable - helped us place our order with... More

I love love the vegetarian breakfast burrito. I can only eat half so I have the other half the next day. :) The food is wonderful. The servers are friendly.

Oh People, this place has it ALL. You really GOTTA go here. It is set up like an old school drive-in diner (dates back to the 1950, I think). There are Car bays where you actually can get served (Sonic-style), but most people go ahead and come inside. The dining area is cozy but I always manage to find a... More

When you walk in the place you are taken back to the fifties with all the decor. The atmosphere is great and the food is awesome. I love eating the patty melt myself but my daughter loves the burgers and chicken fried steak plate. You can play all the free music you want on the juke box and the wait... More

Before Sonic, McDonald's and other franchises took over the American landscape, this is what fast food joints were like -- the good ones, that is. Eating here is like entering a time machine to 1960. We could have opted for curb service, but we decided instead to go inside and sit in a booth. Although we were tempted by such... More

Felt like I was back in a 50's diner. Had the Breakfast Supreme Burrito - huge burrito filled with potatoes, beans, bacon and eggs smothered in green chile with cheese for just over $5. Brought half of the burrito home (made a great lunch for another). Friend had the biscuits and gravy - also a great meal. The wait staff... More

We went here so our 14 year old could be introduced to the disaster. It was extremely good. Our 5 and 8 year olds also enjoyed the food. I wish we would've gotten the name of our waitress. She was attentive, quick and friendly. Our 5 year old got a kids meal which comes with a cookie. The waitress asked... More

If you are looking for a delicious generously size American breakfast with a diner-like atmosphere and comfortable booths, Hurricane's is your dream. Just be prepared to wait on the weekends, because locals flock here with their families.
