This is cozy little local place, they are not open for dinner, they don't have a bar and they don't have a liquor license, but what they do have is amazing beef, amazing chili and fast service.

When I have an early flight in to visit my daughter eating brunch at Pereas appears to becoming a tradition. Huevas Rancheros is our meal of choice. It is always tasty and filling. Love the smoky refried beans and crispy hash browns. Although the carne adovada is one of the best I just couldn't eat that much food. I do... More

My husband is from Albequerque and we go to Pereas for huevos rancheros when in town. It's the best. Eggs any way you like. Choice of red or green chili and both are great and not too hot. Get hash brown and or beans and corn or flour tortillas. Any way you like it. Won't disappoint you. Great service too... More

We ordered carry out. We had the red chile enchiladas. It didn't even tasty like red chile. Food taste like something from a fast food drive thru. On top of that didn't even get honey for the sopapillas. $40 down the drain.

Things are not overspiced, portions in proportion to what you pay for. I saw other reviews that talked about the bland beans. Obviously out of towners--this is how we do things here. If you can't taste food for what it is, you're doing it wrong. Not everything needs garlic and onion. Chile has its own taste, as do beans. We... More

Perea ' s is a treasure, if you're like me and value home-made green chile, superb refried beans and about the nicest staff you can imagine. Breakfast huevos Ranchero will keep you going for hours.

What a wonderful hole in the wall. Great food. Chicken enchiladas to die for, juevos rancheros by IV! Great bar too. Wait staff is long timers and family. Check ahead since not open all the time.

Breakfast at perea's is not to be missed in ABQ. Substantial portions, red and green chile done simply but smoky and ample but not overwhelming heat. Lovely servers and speedy service. Not open for dinner, but that's ok. This is a breakfast place that makes chain restaurants pale in comparison

The staff were very friendly and seated me right away for lunch. The guacamole salad was fresh and slightly garlicky...a surprise for guacamole but tasty. The rest of the meal left much to be desired. Cheese enchiladas with a red sauce. Be prepared that the sauce is spicy, not too much for me because I like spicy foods. The sauce... More

When we walked in to find a line waiting to be seated, we knew this little locally owned joint was worth our stop as we passed through Albuquerque. Just about a mile off highway 40, it was convenient for our traveling family. And it was well worth spending a few more minutes when compared to typical travel food! I had... More
