Maybe the best Vietnamese food I've ever eaten & I've eaten at many great Viet cafes in West coast cities. Both of our dishes were perfectly prepared, excellent flavors. Service was solid. Spring rolls were great. Large portions for the price. The boba tea pop...up is really good too. I'll be coming back!More

We've been going here for years and the food is always fresh and just plain good! It's not fancy, but it's comfortable and the staff is always friendly and efficient. We've tried other places locally, but just go back here. We often just make our...meals a "Dim Sum" by just ordering appetizers, but their Pho soup is hard to beat.More

Being Memorial Day it was hard to find eateries which stayed open on this day and after unsuccessfully calling two to check, we ended up eating in May Cafe. It was in an international part of town and it would be hard to choose if...we just cruised around looking for a place to dine. Fresh rolls are easily distinguished from similar rolls by the fact that they are not fried and that the ingredients used are different from (deep-fried) Vietnamese egg rolls. Fresh rolls have gradually become more popular in Cambodia, Thailand, and Laos as well as in Canada and the US or wherever there are a significant number of Vietnamese people. Its popularity is also partly due to several websites promoting Vietnamese food by Western travelers/South East Asia food experts and by word of mouth. The version served here is stuffed with fresh veggies and herbs and beef strips, nor the usual pork or shrimp and serve with an authentic fish sauce dip than the regular peanut with Hoi Sin sauce version. This drew raves from from my hubby, who thinks that they are more tasty. The Grilled Catfish with a similar fish sauce dip with grilled vegetables and a Stir Fried Mixed Vegetables in oyster sauce complete our meal. Don't be fooled by the exterior, the food is freshly prepared and cooked when you order, the interior is really nice, and the prices are great!More

We've been coming to this building for almost 50 years. It was once a lumber company and the lumberjack on the roof had 2 arms and held an axe. The poor guy isn't looking so good now. I can't remember how long May Cafe has...been here, but they must have been one of the first Vietnamese restaurants in town. I don't believe that we have ever had a bad meal here. We come here for the soups and noodle dishes, mostly for lunch. Good simple fare with consistently friendly, efficient service. For crispy fish and slightly fancier dishes we patronize Cafe Da Lat in the evening.More

Like Que Hong next door, this Vietnamese restaurant is rather average in quality and authenticity. The food is slightly better, but the dining room a little less clean It's location at the corner of a busy intersection make it easy to get to from most...parts of town. It sits right next to two other Vietnamese restaurants, so you can try them all and pick a fave.More

Consistently fast, pleasant service. I tried the chicken curry this visit, which was good. Still like the vegetable crepe the best though. All the entrees are generous. The tiramusu is incredible.

Went there with my husband after a gem show at the Expo Center. It's easy access (which is good with all the ART construction nearby) and the service was very prompt. The food is incredibly fresh, the veggies taste like they're straight out of the...garden. The pho is excellent. May is so sweet and attentive. She came and chatted with us and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.More

I love this place! I used to have neighbors from Vietnam and they made the greatest Spring Rolls!!! This place has ones that are just as marvelous! Great fried rice.....A side is plenty for two. Love the Pho. Large portions.

I love this place! They have the best Pho Ga in Albuquerque. It is a chicken and ginger soup that is so delicious. I always get it when I feel a cold coming on. It clears me right up! My other favorite dish is the...salmon fried rice. It is scrumptious. The staff is always so friendly. We go there at least twice a month.More

Great food at a great price! Amazing environment! Family was welcomed and great service. Location is hard to get into parking lot but worth the small journey.

I come here at least once a year while in ABQ. I've tried other Vietnamese restaurants here, but this is my favorite. The Bahn Xeo is very good, pho is tasty, appetizers are yum.

May's had the best Vietnamese food in Albuquerque - and plenty of vegetarian selections if that is your desire. The restaurant if close to the State Fair grounds and therefore I would highly recommend it for lunch or dinner if you find yourself at the..."Expo" for an event of the flea market. Prices are moderate - the staff friendly and attentive - and a delicious meal you will greatly enjoy!More

Very friendly and prompt staff. Requested stir fried eggplant and drip Vietnamese coffee. The coffee was perfect and delicious. The eggplant not so much. The eggplant texture was more like steamed vs stir fried. This was disappointing. Asked for it to be "spicy hot". It...came out mild. A side of chili sauce came out later to help, but destroyed the flavor of dish. Had it come out properly, the flavors would be nicely spiced and intact. Thanks for reading. The Bike ChaplainMore

Only been twice since we discovered another place for Pho. May Café was nice, small and staff was good. Pho was fairly good but the first day we went, the ingredients did not seem that fresh. The second time, it was much better. Spring rolls...with rice paper were good but I have to say, my wife makes better ones. Don't get me wrong, May café is good, but we prefer another place that's nearby.More
