We googled "Best Breakfast in Albuquerque" and they said Sophia's Place. It IS the best breakfast I have had in ages! Super inventive, hot, fresh, tasty, and lots of it. Very good price for the quality of the food. Go...you will not be unhappy. Not a fancy place but great food. Reasonable. Then my husband noticed Guy Fieri's picture on... More

I grew up in Albuquerque and have lived elsewhere for 30 years. We visit here at least 4 times a year and get our chili fix. We have driven past Sophia's Place many times and wondered what it was all about. Well, on this last visit, we finally stopped for breakfast. It was Memorial Day and we were glad they... More

get the breakfast burrito or be forever sorry. My dad has to order the pancakes (half an order is good for any table to get as a side) and my husband, the steak saled but I will never NEVER waver from the world's best breakfast burrito. Whatever you do, do not miss this little hole it the wall. We try... More

Get the Huevos Rancheros with red chili and choose carnitas for the meat choice. Don't be turned off by the appearance from the street, they have the best breakfast in town, and nice staff!

Our friend in ABQ took us here and it was a wonderful lunch. I got the burrito stuffed with carnitas and my wife got the green chili soft taco hamburger. The food was extremely fresh, and the service was warm and friendly. It can get crowded at lunch, so if you can get there a little early, it is helpful,... More

My husband and I went to Sophia’s Place for breakfast while on vacation. When we pulled up, we were not sure if we wanted to eat there, but it looked packed. I’m so glad we gave it a try. It is a small building, with an even smaller kitchen. The interior is fun and colorful. My husband ordered the breakfast... More

I love the twist to this place. They had the vision to take an old drive-in and make if feel just right. Then they have continued to fine tune the menu and treat the picky palates of those of us who have lived here for a loooong time, just right.

My friend and I were driving across country, and wanted to try a place that had been spot lighted on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. We came across Sophia's in Albuquerque, and boy are we glad we did. We stopped there for breakfast, and got there right at opening at 9 am. Sophia's is a small place, but beautifully and brightly... More

My 11 year old daughter saw an episode of Dives and Diners featuring Sophia's Place while we were skiing at Taos, so we decided to stop by on our way to the airport in Albuquerque. Place was awesome. Breakfast tacos were amazing and the French Toast was super. The staff could not have been friendlier. The ambiance is cool... Very... More

I've lived in Albuquerque for most of my life, and have driven past Sophia's innumerable times but never stopped because it just doesn't look like a good place to go. I didn't know what I was missing!!! Yes, it's a dive, but a celebrated dive visited by Guy Fieri in his Diner's, Drive-Ins and Dives series, and for good reason.... More
