They always have great fresh food. Their Chicken is crisp and tender, almost as good as Mom's. BBQ ribs smell & taste so good my mouth watering right now. Burritos are the best I've found anywhere. They are very quick on the drive through window, but I normally go inside. Always clean, especially restrooms. They have locations all over Albuquerque... More

I came to Albuquerque for work-related purposes, and I'd received several recommendations that I have a meal at least once at Golden Pride. Admittedly, the restaurant's name and ubiquitous presence about town didn't really pique my interest, but I decided to give it a try anyway. Golden Pride seems to have a strange mash-up of a menu--they offer breakfast all... More

I stopped here for lunch to try some green chilis. It has both sit in and take out. I chose to eat there. I had a burrito with green chili. It was freshly made and delicious. It is a bit soupy so they give you a fresh flour tortilla. I would come back again to try other dishes if I... More

This is the best spot for a well proportioned breakfast burrito (and the fried chicken is way fresher and less greasy than KFC!)

Really enjoyed the two piece chicken meal. Sides were passable, but the chicken and BBQ sauce was quite good. Would definitely recommend as a late night snack.

Something is different about their carne adovada burritos....they seem smaller, taste a bit different? Have they gone up in price? Changed recipe? Not quite as good as usual, but still good. Tortillas seem thicker. My advice, go back to the old way. Much better! Friend chicken still the bomb!

This is not a national chain but a small spot that has been in business for a long time. The atmosphere is casual - western. The manager was friendly, took a real interest in how we liked the food (very much) and encouraged us to come back. When traveling cross country as we were, finding good, natural food is a... More

There's absolutely no other place to go. Crisp, juicy fried chicken with plentiful sides. Dining room closes at 9:00 pm. Drive thru open until 10:00 pm. You can expect a wait because the chicken is that good. Pick up some homemade tortillas while you're at it. You'll be happy for days that you did.

Fast food. New Mexico Mexican food. Fried chicken. Assembly line tortillas that look like balloons until cooled. A kitchen that is bigger than the dining. Navigation was different but it was lunch and so we had somebody to follow. All in all a good experience.
