This location came highly recommend and didn't disappoint. The decor is a big throwback as well as the uniforms. Very cool to see the tortillas being made. I got the Frontier Burrito and my husband got the breakfast burrito. Both were delicious but I would suggest the Frontier Burrito for sure. Prices were fair so well worth the trip!

This place is Albuquerque's answer to The Varsity in Atlanta. Try the cinnamon rolls, or get one to go. Decent food at a good price. This place really brings in all types from all walks of life ... which makes it even more appealing, IMHO.

The food is sooo good. Don't go there without getting a Frontier Roll. Its the best darn breakfast roll you will ever have. Its pretty much a college hangout for UNM. But people from all over town head there for breakfast.

Had to check it out after reading all the reviews. It was a very casual place where you order at the bar and pick it up when your number is called. Food was cheap and good. Nothing special. Disappointed they didn't have margaritas but I guess that is understandable being right across from the university. Now I can say I've... More

I don't think I've ordered anything different, o, except that I've added a cinnamon roll...yummy. I'm fond of red chili, so I order mine with red and cheddar cheese. The chili is always consistent and is almost as good as my Mom made. Definitely suggest, and the cinnamon roll too!

Located directly across the street from UNM. It is a very busy place with students, police officers, professors, business people. They have expanded over the years and taken over several businesses in the same building. Offering breakfast, soups, sandwiches, burgers, Mexican foods. All orders taken at a long counter, quickly and efficiently. Obviously been around a long time as is... More

Went for breakfast and loved it. The restaurant is across the road from the University of New Mexico. There are no waiters you order upfront and wait for your number. They squeeze fresh orange in front of you and get coffee from the counter. Ordered the breakfast burrito and it was amazing. Veggie option or add meat for others. The... More

Second visit to Albuquerque, second visit to Frontier. It's fast. It's cheap. It's good, and in spite of how busy it can get, it feels really unhurried and easy going. Wasn't impressed by the sweet rolls though.

Not worth visiting, because Huevos rancheros tasted good, but looked terribile! The famous and advertised huge cinnamon rolls were actually normal size, not freshly baked, synthetic sweet rolls

The food was good and had big portions for a good price. I was surprised at the variety in the menu. They have Mexican food, burgers, sandwiches, and breakfast food. The place is huge so there is plenty of seating, and they have a lot of parking too.
