During a recent recruiting visit to the University of New Mexico (UNM) one of my fellow recruiters (who is an UNM Alum) suggested that we try The Frontier Restaurant. It's an icon in Albuquerque! The place is jammed at lunch time but the set up and customer service folks are well equipped to handle the volume. The Frontier Cheeseburger is... More

This was an extra casual dining. Choices and variety are very good. Food was good. Staff was very young and a little stand offish.. They do have outside sitting. I would recommend.

Depending on time and day of the week, always full of college students and long time locals of all ages. The building has multiple rooms, takes up half the block, always busy and noisy. Don't let the line to order at the 10-12 station counter worry you, always moves way faster than you think. Good local, fast, inexpensive place for... More

Serves great New Mexican Food, as well as solid Mexican Food. No bad choices. I had the Vegetarian Burrito this time. Very filling,, comes with a flour tortilla which they make themselves. The people are always a great mix from students, to workers, military from the airbase, professionals, and everyone else.

The green chili cheese burger is awesome. I also strongly recommend the Bonanza! Great place to visit if you are only in Albuquerque for 1 day.

Greeted warmly, I learned about New Mexican food vs Mexican food and you will have to learn yourself. I got a bunch of things to try: burrito amd beans... More

Right across the street from UNM. Longs lines are possible but really move along quickly. Homemade tortillas make the best tacos and burritos. Fresh squeezed orange juice made on site is awesome. Do not leave without having a hot cinnamon roll.

We were here the 11/23/16. Hard find parking. Inside walls were fantastic with John Wayne pictures, props, all kinds pictures. Coffee was great. Tortilla soup pretty spices but OK. My son had a burger. Great. My taco salad lacked appeal. Atmosphere was worth it. Service was great
