Had dinner in this "iconic" Albuquerque restaurant located across the street from the University of New Mexico. They definitely cater to the students. Their menu contains a lot of selections and very reasonable prices. The food is decent and service is what you would expect. You place your order at the counter and take your food to a table. There... More

I was recommended to this place by a co-worker - "when in Albuquerque, you gotta try it!" - so I did. He was right - the food is excellent. The place itself, being across the street from the college is well, what you might expect - older but it was clean. ...but you don't come here for the ambiance! It's... More

Huge ole fashion cheap eats, 24 hour all food short order cooking. Across from UNM in Central always worth going. Nothing healthy here, all butter and carbs but 1 visit will not clog your arteries. Cinnamon Bun is best in west - I like ranchero sauce on eggs of any style -!ask for butter in the side on Bun. Order... More

My wife and I stopped by the Frontier for breakfast our first day in ABQ. Parking can look to be sparse when you first get there, but forego the street parking. There is a small parking area right next to the restaurant but if it's full, drive further around and behind where you will find ample parking reserved for patrons... More

Loved this large sprawling restaurant with fast, tasty food. Service is seamless from the multiple servers along a block counter to the, what seemed like, no wait food. The sweet rolls are to die for, and the green chile is excellent. When we were there this time there was a notable police presence and they were monitoring the restaurant and... More

No matter the meal this classic Albuquerque restaurant is here to fill you up and offer variety of foods. Their cinnamon rolls are famous, the chile is authentic New Mexico. Located in the UNM area, there is always a colorful array of people eating here and chances are you'll meet someone you know if you're from New Mexico.

Huge Block long counter ordered restaurant. Open 20 hours a day. Good size portions. Good for a quick stop for breakfast. Easy location across from the university. Very casual - very!

I've been going here for a long time. I'm never disappointed with the food. I really enjoy the hash browns with green chile It is hot and the best you can find. This is short order but very good after a play or when you want to study. Meet up with friends. There are many things to do after and... More

We found ourselves in Albuquerque on business and were told that the Frontier had wonderful cinnamon rolls. Since it was lunch time and we had already eaten, we popped in and ordered two rolls to go. We heated them up for about 20-30 seconds the next morning in the hotel microwave. Wow!! The icing and the cinnamon melted and made... More

Love this place. Suits, students, skaters, and more all gather at the Frontier. The menu is New Mexican inspired, quite affordable and delicious. I love the crispy cheesy hashbrowns, the savory sausage, the fluffy pancakes, and the best tortillas. To top it off (literally) don't forget to slather your meal with a laddle full of the famous black crockpot green... More
