Mary and Titio's is the best place to go and eat authentic, New Mexican Carne Adovado. The dish they are known for is the Carne Turnover smothered in green chile. It's tiny, it's not fancy, prices are reasonable and like most traditional NM restaurants, they care more about the quality of the food than foo-foo fanciness.

My wife read a review of Mary's & Tito's Cafe and she wanted to go there because the review said the food was so good and they had won the James Beard award. Well it's not in the best part of town and to see the place you would thing twice about eating there. Clean but not fancy in the... More

Service was good and speedy. Food came out hot and fresh. Taste was good, nothing incredible. Portions were small, especially the flautas. If I were in the neighborhood I'd go back, but not worth a detour.

We were shopping in Old Town Albuquerque and ready for a late lunch. I decided to get online and see what was reviewed best. I am so glad I did. This is clearly a place that locals dine - a family owned restaurant. I am from the Houston, TX area, so I wanted to see the difference in Tex-mex and... More

Mary and Tito's is great! Everywhere in New Mexico has red or green chili sauce but Mary and Tito's really makes an effort with every dish! Not fancy but the food is great the the atmosphere is friendly. If you want real New Mexico food and a very reasonable price be sure to visit Mary and Tito's. Chris and Lia... More

From the carne adovada, to the chile rellenos and the enchiladas--it's all delicious! I'm originally from NM but had never been to Mary & Tito's Cafe untl now. Their red child sauce truly is gorgeous...divine! People have commented that the café has odd hours and that they don't serve alcohol. Who cares! Go for the amazing food!!

My favorite New Mexico restaurant in ABQ. Best red chile, best carne adovada and that is saying something in ABQ. Funky hours and no beer or wine. This is one of the locals' favorite spots. Really inexpensive, funky part of 4th street, crazy old place. And, the earned a coveted James Beard award and featured in the newest Beard cookbook.... More
