I am from Chicago where we have amazing Mexican food, so I was surprised to see all the acclaim on the walls here as I walked in by chance. I got excited, but I can tell you while it is quite a decent chicken taco (my personal measuring stick of a Mexican place)- it is by no means the best.... More

Went in with my family after reading some reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. This is a little hole in the wall joint with wonderful local food. The tacos are to die for. I also tried the chili relleno burrito which was extremely tasty and filling. Very reasonable very tasty. We will return.

I've made the drive from Omaha to Phoenix several times and, whenever possible, try to schedule a stop for lunch or dinner at this very good taqueria. I typically order the Torta Mexicana (with french fries) and an horchata -- and I'm never disappointed. It's a messy affair, and I've had to ask for a knife and fork at the... More

Was looking for a place close to my hotel and stumbled on this gem. What a selection and it all looked great. I wanted tacos and this place didn't disappoint! These have to be the best tacos I have ever had. Very fresh and very tasty. I am back in ABQ next week and this will be my first stop!

When traveling I am always on the lookout for the place the locals eat. Taqueria Mexicano is that place. The place has limited parking, limited seating, and the to-go window can be a 10 minute wait. Ahhhhh.... But the food is amazing and cheap. My first visit I had an Asada Tortas. This is a sandwich served on Mexican bread,... More

This busy local spot served a good Chicken enchilada. The restaurant is small (only seats about 20 patrons} and busy. They sell a good deal of To-Go meals. Their salsa was good.

Stopped here on a whim and definitely was not disappointed! Fast Service. Pleasant waitresses. Delicious food. Large portions and low prices! The bathroom was clean as well.

I have had breakfast here a couple of times-good huevos rancheros and burritos. Staff is friendly and welcoming. If such things concern you the ambiance is pretty basic and it is pretty small. But I think the food makes up for any reservations you might have. Have driven by at lunchtime and the place is mobbed so you might have... More

It is a popular Mexican restaurant at Albuquerque. The food is authentic and delicious and the volume is huge as compared to its "unexpectedly low" price for each item. Tacos over there were arguably considered to be the best in town. Also, the staff was very friendly. It is definitely worth stopping by when visiting Albuquerque, NM.

kind of a dive building but delicious, authentic, Meixcan food! Get a bottled Cooke with your meal to top off the experience!
