Great spot for coffee and a quick lunch.

We stopped in because it was close to our inn and we wanted a late lunch. Food is served at our table after ordering at the counter. They always have their delicious pastries, pies, and cakes in the case right when you walk in...a serious temptation. Food is quite good. It's always worth a... read more

The food, atmosphere, and people are great here at the Flying Star Café. We went to the one by the river and found the building to be very nice. We will be back!

Flying Star was recommended to us by 2 ABQ natives as a good place for breakfast or lunch. Our party of 4 adults tried it for breakfast, and found it to be very busy. It is order-at-the-counter, and we all tried different breakfast combinations. Only one of the 4 of us finished his selection, an omelet. The other plates were... More

Just ate at Flying Star on Corralles Rd. New Mex. (did come show up on your listing). The service was slow, food lukewarm and portion size decreased; all for the same price. The thing here is this, I know some of these cafes went under and they are struggling to stay afloat, but to charge the same price and decrease... More

We loved our coffee. Our brunch/breakfast was ok. It was really busy and service was still great! I had french toast and it was nothing to write home about. My egg was cooked well. My husbands food was meh. His side of potatoes were great!

we've visited Flying Star locations in ABQ and have found the food selections eclectic and outstanding. Last I had a green chile beef stew that was clearly over the top. They have cakes and pastries that tempt anyone watching their weight

Went for lunch today at 12:30 pm. Ordered one of the lunch specials. The Atlantic. The fish sand, while good didn't have tartar sauce. When I asked, I was told they were out, and working on getting some. Would I like something else. However, there were pickles on my plate and a lemon wedge. One would assume there was mayo somewhere... More

Always a tasty sandwich and wonderful salads. And delicious desserts--from cookies (Cowgirl is my favorite) to tarts to cakes to pies! You'll find something to treat your sweet tooth!

I came across this place for a late lunch because I was going to the Rio Grande Nature Center after arriving in the afternoon at the airport. The salad was a good portion and tasty. They also had sandwiches and desserts, which I didn't try. Tables inside and out.
