Good combination- don't you agree? We were comfortable and relaxed sitting outside munching on our well prepared salad. Mine contained a handful of roasted chickpeas and a few lovely mini falafels with dill sauce. Lovely! Boyfriend had tossed Cobb. Scrumptious, he said! Bread pudding was tasty but, we were told it would be served warm with rum sauce, however, it... More

Met my sister recently for lunch and enjoyed the relaxed pace in the heart of Albuquerque. The menu has options for all appetities, and the desert display makes it almost impossible not to order a sweet treat to accompany the meal. Service was fast and friendly, and the food was satisfying. There is plenty of seating indoors and out, and... More

We have enjoyed Flying Star Cafe for many visits! Today we make a special stop before leaving town for their wonderful carrot cake. What a disappointment. Clearly something has changed -- the carrot cake was simply inedible -- totally awful. It lacked flavor - no cinnamon, no cloves, apparently no carrots, no nuts. The frosting lacked any flavor much less... More

Now that I'm living in Albuquerque... for now... and not knowing how long this "now" is going to last... I have recently gone here twice in a week with my (now former) housemate. As I'm staying at a corporate/extended stay hotel for what will likely be at least a few months while I finish my assignment--and as this was my... More

We stopped in for a late lunch and shared a juicy burger topped with onion rings and Swiss cheese. We were happy to share the extraordinary burger. The fries were perfectly seasoned. It was a little difficult parking on a mid-day Saturday but the food and atmosphere are with it. Out other favorite stops in this little mall are Bookworks... More

Never been to any of these cafes - I was amazed at the selection they had. Breakfast all day or choose a burger...it's all your choice!

The salads at Flying Star are good, but expensive. The portions for the other items are quite small, especially at $11.00 and higher. The food is quite good, the locations are nice, clean, and modern. The staff is friendly, but although the tables are bussed frequently, they definitely aren't wiped down routinely. All in all, just fair...

Never disappointed each and every time. Beautiful location and outdoor patio with fireplace. Extensive menu with a large variety of good, healthy and tasty selections. Bakery items are to die for!

Had a decent lunch on a Saturday. it was not to crowded. There was a family group in the middle of the outdoor space that were enjoying each other's company, so it was a rowdier environment athan usual. Falafel salad was delicious but very large. Had to take some home, which is sometimes hard if you are not headed right... More

Good food, fresh and tasty. Menu is limited. Maybe the specials could rotate more often. More meat and potatoes, my husband requests. Service is generally good, though, meal delivery can be rushed. By the time you can answer the question, "do you need anything else", the server's back is to you and they're gone. We do enjoy FS and hope... More
