Always a good italian meal here for a good price and solid service. My wife ordered spaghetti and meatballs and it was delicious. I ordered chicken piccata and had to send it back...the chicken breasts turned out to be slices of chicken breast, which I could handle, but they were chewy and crunchy and that isn't very appetizing when it... Hope they'll be around for a while longer, but prices keep going up & options keep slipping. We love to purchase a container of the spices they use on the bread dip, it's wonderful.

We recently ate Zio's. It is a pleasant place with a sort of trattoria atmosphere and is similar to other Zio's. Service was friendly and attentive, even though the server had to be reminded about a few things such as bringing the beer before dinner was served. I had the spicy pepperoni/chicken dish and my wife had the canneloni Both... More

I was hoping for something more like Romani's Macaroni Grill; a chain but rather good IMHO. Our group of 11 had Italian Nachos which were generous in size but not very tasty. Toasted Ravioli was good enough though. My Baked Ziti however was pretty unappealing. Sauce not very tasty. Pieces of ziti kept breaking apart as I endeavored to lift... More

I has kind of hesitant to try Zio's because I thought It was like Olive Garden. I have never liked Olive Garden very much. Zio's was so much different and better. I went for lunch and it was almost dead inside. Hardly anyone was there. At first I thought it wasn't going to be good because barely anyone was eating... More

To begin, the service was extremely fantastic. The waiter served us bread freshly made and filled our drinks when we needed them to be filled. The meal was a little expensive, but you pay for the great food. It was an awesome dining experience for my first time at Zio's. Fabulous job!

What a delightful surprise Zio's Italian Kitchen is, located adjacent to the mall in Albuquerque on Coors Boulevard. The portions are large, the tastes are amazing and the prices are reasonable. I have been there for lunch and dinner and both are exceptional. What I like most is the kitchen is right in the dining area, so you see how... More

From beginning to end, this restaurant sees you coming, wants you to be happy you came, and wants you back. It felt like a small vacation, like we went to Europe for a little while. All the seating options were filled with atmosphere and there is plenty of responsive waitstaff. You can watch the kitchen staff to some extent and... More

Once they changed the menu, the food quality declined. Ironically they were trying to be fancy, but Olive Garden is closer to quality Italian than Zios. I used to love this place back in 2004, but the staff are unfriendly and the food sucks. What a bummer.

Met and seated promptly, Waitress was on our table in one minute. She made excellent suggestions. Appetizer (stuffed mushrooms) were the best I have ever eaten. Cesar salad was fresh, very tasty. Wife had matticotti, I had egg plant parmesana, both were perfectly prepared, hot and very large portions. Bill came promptly and were greeted again when we left by... More
