We stopped in to pick up dinner. I asked for ice tea and was offered black or peach. I asked for black, received peach and when I asked for black, I was told all the iced tea was peach. I left the tea on the counter, and wasn't offered anything by the person at the counter. I've never been in... More

My business associate and I always have coffee and pastry here when we want an informal meeting...The lunches are great and the portions seem fair. Atmosphere is of people long out of college...!

Being back in Abq. for a couple days, it's nice to go back to old reliable favorites. This definitely has always been a most enjoyable breakfast and lunch favorite for a quick, family or friends casual meal. Large variety and friendly staff.

The patio is wonderful. This is a great place for bakery and pastry goods. Wish the coffee was better. I usually get tea because the coffee is weak. But the pastries are very good. The patio is dog friendly with water bowls and leash hitch ups. Also dog treats inside for four legged guests. Staff is friendly and efficient. Order... More

You almost think your in a place that caters to university types! Good coffees, free pastries & desserts, and great sandwich plates; Needless-to-say everything on the menu is worth the extra dime or two!!!

Best laugh - "Welcome to our Pet-io" sign. It's a dining patio where pets are welcome The location is good - half a block off busy Montgomery. The building is beautiful with multiple levels and seating areas, including two covered patios. This is an "order at the counter and they'll bring it to your table" kind of place The menu... More

Flying Star Cafe offers a fantastic assortment of desserts and semi healthy food. However, the price for the food is high for what you get and compared to other similiar restaurants in the area.

Flying Star used to be much more busy than it is these days. They've downscaled the menus and it seems that staff turns over more than it used to. This might be a direct result of some financial difficulties the Albuquerque chain encountered a couple of years ago. I feel they've done their best to maintain appeal and offer a... More

My cousin and I went there to get some cheesecake. You can always find a good dessert here. The staff is really friendly, like the Full Metal Alchemist fan behind the counter. Very rarely disappointed and has gluten free options.
