What a beautiful building! Pictures on the walls tell the story of the celebrities that have eaten and/or performed here! I enjoyed the Mexican buffet that had plenty of soups, tamales, enchiladas, and salad bar! My husband enjoyed a rib eye steak, my son enjoyed...More

We flew into Albuquerque Sunport Airport and picked up a rental car, enroute to Santa Fe. We asked for a lunch recommendation along the way. We were provided with a map and directions, a coupon and a little history of the restaurant. We are adventurous...More

Beautiful outdoor seating. They roast green chile right outside of the restaurant—the aroma is awesome and stirs your appetite. Large restaurant and they had three private parties going on. We sat in the bar at a table and had great service. I had a chile...More

This is a beautiful place to visit especially with out of town company. The outdoor patio is gorgeous with huge cottonwoods, brick flooring and fireplaces. It is one of the best ever. The margaritas are tasty! The food is a wonderful example of New Mexican...More

I have been going here off and on for many years. Went with my wife a couple of days ago and was very disappointed. Ambience, as always, is excellent, but the prices are high and the food is mediocre. It is extremely popular but with...More

Took a couple of friends to my favorite NM.restaurant for the first time. No disappointments. The setting if this restaurant is surreal. An old adobe with endless patios and rooms for setting. Gypsy Kings and other Latin music pipes in. Sit on a patio surrounded...More

The last time there, I wasn't impressed. But this time on a family dinner with my daughters family it was great. Very important to show up early, no wait at 4-5 but by the time we left a line up 15-20 feet long. Food great...More

We had a group of 22 sitting out on the patio listening to a band! Great food and they are definitely set up to accommodate large or small groups.

El Pinto never lets us down. I would rate the food very good but not over the top, but also a good value. However the setting and atmosphere along with the food is outstanding. It is off the beaten path in an older part of...More

We went on a Friday afternoon around 5pm without a reservation and we were a group of 8 people! I think calling ahead and asking is always wise! But no a reservation is not required!
