The food here is passable. The service was excellent. The building needs a good cleaning. The salad bar is boring, with very little variety. This restaurant seems like it has seen better days.

My wife and I thought that this would be a neat place for dinner because of the building and the website. OK I have lived in Texas, Kansas City and Chicago, don't waste your money or your time. I would like to know where all of these other people ate, because I must have been in the wrong place. We... More

This place is in need of some cleaning and renovating. The salad bar was pretty depleted at 730 on a Friday night, and, although there was a young man looking very busy, everything was empty. The prime rib made up for it. It was exceptional. The service was spotty and I overheard other tables mentioning the service, too. Not a... More

On a recent night out I opted to check out that odd round building on Lomas that I pass all the time. All I heard was that they had a great salad bar and the food was OK. On this night, they were expecting a large crowd for a performance by Albuquerque Jazz so there were quite a few people... More

My daughter and I were traveling across country and stayed at a nearby hotel. We came here because it was in walking distance, and still open at the late time we arrived. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly and did not express any irritation or pressure to hurry even though we were there shortly before closing. Food was prepared timely and... More

This is a great place to catch lunch. The salad bar has a variety of fresh tasty items. The two soups that go along with the salad bar were wonderful. The potato cream soup and green chile chicken soup were very tasty. The wait staff was efficient and friendly. We had a large group and the service was excellent. Some... More

There was a group of 7 of us. We called ahead for reservations the first visit. The next day we just showed up without a reservation and they still seated us quickly and graciously. We had two different waiters on our visits and both provided excellent and quick service. Not fancy but the food is fairly priced, great quantity and... More

Perhaps that's a bit harsh as I'm sure many of these facilities offer dining to a higher standard. At 6pm the place was busy beyond what one would expect . Everyone batched in close proximity. Hmmm... something is going on as most of these diners can't be paying menu prices which are shall we say are fully priced. Their bussing... More

Happen to drive by looking for a place to eat. It looked nice from the outside and was nice on the inside. I was alone and the place was not busy as I got there a little later in the evening. Service was good. The atmosphere was very nice. The salad bar was very good and the Prime Rib I... More

The Cooperage is one of the restaurants that we always visit whenever we are in Albuquerque, and we made reservations again to take out a very special friend on our last trip. After reading the reviews, especially on some other sites, we almost canceled but we are certainly glad we didn’t. Our food couldn’t have been better; the steaks were... More
