Not crowded on a holiday weekend. Service was great. Salads were generous and fresh. I was able to sub out pasta for fresh veggies, which was nice but also an additional cost. Five or six different sauces are available. I'm not big on sauces or gravy, but the white wine lemon garlic sauce was just fantastic! A real winner. Our... More

Eclectic establishment on Central Avenue. Good service and interesting menu. Portions are not huge, but unless you are ravenous they will do just fine. Prices are neither expensive nor inexpensive.

A great find near the university. They have been open more than 20 years and really do Cajun food right. The alligator is fried in corn meal and tender. Crawfish tastes fresh and also tender. Try the seafood gumbo! When you're tired of Mexican or Southwestern try Louisiana Cajun!!!

First and only visit though we should have received a second chance... Parking was great, we got there right when the restaurant opened (the best part). The initial service was good, and the restaurant seemed very presentable. However, on a very warm day, the restaurant was warm and so was the salad, beer and entree. While in the bathroom, the... We discovered this small locally owned restaurant when it opened in the mid-90s and have not been able to give up our "habit" yet. Over the years they have greatly expanded their menu to augment their original shrimp with "Cajun" sauce to include Thai, Curry, New Mexican and more, and other fish, seafood and meat, to please anyone's tastes. They... More

I went to lunch to this place with a friend and we were disappointed with the portions of meat served with each of our meals. I had the cajun chicken over angel hair pasta and my friend had the jambalaya. The amount of chicken pieces in the cajun chicken with angle hair pasta was embarrassing small and my friend's jambalaya... More

Interesting concept, cajun shrimp that you can have over pasta where you select your own sauce. Unfortunately the actual shrimp was overdone with cornmeal breading and the yellow curry sauce not very good but I'd still give it another try just for the novelty of the concept. my husband had a creamier chile sauce which was tastier but definitely heavy... We hadn't been here for a long time but decided to try it for lunch. We noticed that everything had been redecorated. There were two young servers and the place wasn't crowded but it took a long time to get our drink orders. Once the 2nd waiter took our order he was back in 5 minutes to take it again.... More

Outstanding Cajun, Creole, and Caribbean sauces highlight well-cooked entrees in generous portions. Also try the Cajun cheese fries appetizer - you might just want to make that your entire meal.
