My friends took me here my first night in town. We ate outside and enjoyed live music and beautiful gardens. The service was great and the food was really good. I'm limited on what I can try because I can't eat anything spicy. However, my friends had the Carne Adobado and other traditional New Mexican dishes. They looked fabulous and... More

We went early when they first opened. Only one other table. Our waiter was not thrilled to see us. I order the Taste of El Brunos. Nothing special and really bland. Husband got the fajitas. Meat was not bad but the vegetables were cold just thrown on the hot plate. Sour cream costs extra and you do not get beans... More

I didn't really expect a bright, cheery restaurant with patio, wine, and gifts as we headed through Cuba. Salsa was great, salad had a delicious spicy dressing! Margaritas tasted great - alcohol content not too high which was fine for lunch. Enchiladas were also really good. Others have commented on the service - ours was good. Sopapillas do not come... My husband and I frequent El Bruno's because their food is fabulous and the service is outstanding! We love their table side guacamole! We love their chips and queso. Their salsa is perfect! Their enchiladas are so tasty! Their green chili is fairly hot and very tasty! Their quesadillas are the best I've ever tasted! Their crunchy chicken tacos are... More

This was a hard restaurant to rate overall as some aspects were excellent, and others, poor. The menu is diverse and offers several dishes which are not often seen on menus in Albuquerque. We opted for traditional and ordered chicken fajitas and chicken enchiladas with Christmas. The fajitas were tasty with lots of white chicken meat but far too many... More

Wow! This place offers a great green chile stew but it is not for the week at heart! It is wickedly spicy hot but great flavor and genorous portion if you like the extra spicy flavors! This was our first visit here but will return on our next trip to Albuquerque. Glad we stumbled on to this place!

The queso here is my very favorite. It comes with great fried flour tortilla chips. The salsa and corn chips are complimentary and also really good. All of the food is great, and the menu is more diverse than other New Mexican restaurants like Sadie's. The ribeye comes with fried spinach, which is great and unique. The spicy shrimp and... More
