A co-worker brought in some take out one day and it smelled delicious! She recommended this place. She is a vegan "foodie" so I was a little worried when I walked in. The environment is kind of panda- expressy, but the food was delicious! This is a very casual restaurant but great food.

Well the only reason I don't is that it's not convenient to my home or work. But I was in the area yesterday and stopped in for lunch. I've eaten here a few times and have always found the food and selection to be to my liking. You have the option of getting a two item or three item plate,... More

I'm sorry to see not many reviews for this place. It had a rough start in the beginning but has vastly improved.Half the course selections are vegetarian. It is true most of the selection in general are not overly spiced, however they are tasty. Less spice translates into suitable for younger folks in the family. You can always add a... More

I love Indian food. Their buffet is reasonable compared to the ones in Santa Fe and around Albuquerque. Their food is delicious and there are many choices. I would not be able to make all these types of dishes without spending tons of money on all the ingredients.

I was happy to find another Indian restaurant in Albuquerque. The service and food are not up to the mark as expected. Though it is an express restaurant some good food also matters. In that day I would say it was an average restaurant.

For a fast food place it's not bad. I loved the flavors here, and the service was fast and reasonably priced as well. Lots of food for your money. Will definitely go back when visiting ABQ later this year.

I adore Indian food. Since I work close to the strip mall where Saffron Tiger is located, I was eager to try it after reading a number of good reviews. On the up side, the restaurant is clean and service is good, and it's convenient if you work near Paseo Del Norte and I-25. But the food was a major... More

This was the express, it was good, but could have used some more spice. Very fast and reasonably priced.

On the outskirts of Abq. and in a crummy looking shopping center, the restaurant may be a little hard to find, but very well worth a try. Indoor appointments are nice. The menu is varied and the Indian hot is really hot! Try the buffet midday. Nice selection of beer and wine. Good service and price.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and variety of food available at this Indian buffet restaurant. I was looking for an alternative to "strip mall fast food" when I stayed in Albuquerque recently, and the Saffron Tiger fit the bill perfectly, without breaking the bank!
