The root beer was good, I had the fried chicken on waffle. It was hard to find, once you think you are there, keep going

The food was great. I recommend the fish tacos. We also enjoyed the local brews we tried. It as a bit more expensive than we were expecting, but the atmosphere and food were very enjoyable and service was good.

Great little place to get Cajun-Soul Food with a bit of New Mexican flair and a cold beer. We went on a weeknight and were able to be seated quickly. Microbrews were good and everyone enjoyed their meals--Fried fish tacos were great as was the fried chicken and waffles, and the enchiladas. Plenty of food. You won't go away hungry.... More

I love fried chicken! If you all are a soul mate of the "fried", best you get over to Nexus Brewery. Since I am not a beer drinker I cannot vouch for the brew but let me tell you—whenever I have had fried chicken in other places and states—I always hold up the fried chicken at Nexus as my highest... All I can say is wow. Went in with the expectation of a good microbrew and "bar" food and walked out totally impressed by both the beers and high quality upscale food at very reasonable prices! My wife and I had their special ESA (extra special amber) and shared their open face enchilada and fish tacos. Both were amazing. Guy... More

I had the Cajun Burger and it was great. Never had anything like it. My friends had the fish tacos and they gave them high marks. Will be back!

What can I say...Nexus is always awesome! Their New Mexican soul food is different from your typical brewery menu, and it certainly keeps bringing people back for more! Their Chicken -n- Waffles is Simply Amazing, and their red chile is to die for (if you like it hot)! They've always got a great selection of regular and seasonal beers...some award... More
