I have been to Nexus several times in the past 2 years, including my last visit in July 2016, & I have never been disappointed. Any of the several entrees that I have tried, as well those chosen by my guests, were great including the latest: a delicious New Orleans gumbo with shrimp & a side of collard greens. I... More

My friends and I ate at Nexus because we had heard that they had decent beers and good food. The beer was decent but the food and especially the service, was mediocre to horrible. Frankly, I have no idea why anyone would actually like going there when I could get better food and service at a Chili's. I will not... More

I was there for lunch with a friend. The place is somewhat spare in decor, but my friend likes it for the brews (I am not a drinker). I ordered the rice and beans w/ sausage, and the waiter fast talked me into ordering a waffle to go with that, which proved devastatingly unnecessary, as it, like the main course... More

Decided to try this place for a beer and ended up staying for dinner, glad we did. Beer is very good, food is even better. Sort of a Southern - Southwestern fusion menu that really works. The black eyed peas hummus is really good and just spicy enough to wake you up. The red beans and rice are delicious and... More

I submitted a form to review the new Nexus location on Coors but was unable to get TA to post that location. So, I'll review it here. My husband and I were very happy to have another craft brewery on the West side which is routinely overlooked by all except the national chains. Plus, we've been to most of the... More

We have been to Nexus several times. In the beginning it was more like a warehouse than a restaurant. Some folks were turned off by that but we just found it to be part of the development process. It is now nicely updated and decorated. We have found the brews, food and service to be very good each time we’ve... More

It would be easy to tell you that the soul food along with the New Mexico dishes are sensational. Or that their crafted brewed beers are some of the best in the city … but what many of you may not know is that the management is more than fair and equitable, offing their employes more than a minimum wage,... This place was highly recommended onTA so we made an effort on our trip through Albuquerque to eat there. Don't trust the GPS! When you see the Window replacement business turn in their parking lot, it's in the back. The southern fried chicken was great, as were the southern fried fish tacos (batter like catfish batter - light). We tried... More

The food was great. I recommend the fish tacos. We also enjoyed the local brews we tried. It as a bit more expensive than we were expecting, but the atmosphere and food were very enjoyable and service was good.
