This is one of those places that makes you smile…the service is excellent, the staff is very accommodating to special requests. Prices are reasonable and the quantity of food is fair. Everything cooked as ordered.

I ate breakfast here twice. It is right next to the Sheraton. The food was delicious. They have basic breakfasts and healthier options. Quite a gem tucked away next to a chilis.

My husband and I eat at Sunnyside Up about once or twice a year. The food and service are great. However, I cannot help but notice what appears to be the manager or owner, greets many of the white or Hispanic customers, but snobs us...purposely. We are often only the people of color in the restaurant. Perhaps this snob is to keep it that way???More

10:30 Sunday October 23...35 minute wait consider normal. Front lacked leadership with committee meetings to decide priority and seating with empty tables waiting. Menu looks good. Service exuberant "Oh that's my favorite". Food: fried egg sandwich. Bread oily not really grilled, small amount of ham...avocado tomato cheese only in the exact middle, potato seasoned salty oily no crisp. Arrived hot but cooled very quickly, Also one $5.50 plain pancake not crispy or butter melting. Check out only at front door entry area including: 1. tables checking out. 2. customers waiting for seating. 3. customers arriving checking in. 4. Customers ordering take out. Nobody comfortable in that cramped area. I do not wish to try it again.More

My Aunt and Uncle love this place, so I thought I would give it a try. I ordered online and opted to do curbside pickup. When I got there, I did not see where I was supposed to park for "curbside", so I went in....They were super crowded (which I though was good, in the sense they must have good food)! I proceeded to wait and wait ... and wait for someone to show up at the "Please be seated" area as the cash register gal was tending to a long line of folks waiting to pay. When someone finally appeared I said I was there to pick up my online order. I was told that online orders were running behind and they would call me when it was ready. I was encouraged to wait outside. I tried to give the girl my name so she would have a face to go with the name on the order. She did not seem interested. I waited outside for 20 minutes and decided to call to verify my order. I thought maybe I would have better luck/better service. The girl who answered said there was not an order for anyone by my name. I explained that it was placed online. She asked if I wanted to speak to her manager. I said yes. I was on hold for 18 minutes. I hung up, drove home (5 minutes away) and called back. Again... I was on hold for 11 minutes (waiting for the manager). I was in disbelief that their service could be so horrible and that they could treat a customer so poorly. I didn't bother going back there because I was just so fed up at that point. I contacted Selflane (who does their online ordering) and they were able to refund me. So what I can say is that their food may be good, but I will never know!!More

There is some seating out on their front patio. It's a 25 minute wait to eat inside this morning. The Green Chili chicken hash sounds pretty good. It will be hard to rival the duck hash at the Shop, a tough act to follow. We...were seated after only 12 minutes of checking in, they sent a text when our seat was ready too. Levi is waiting on us, he's cool. We ordered the green chili chicken hash, no sour cream or cheese, a Colorado jack scramble and a cinnamon roll, the roll looked good, despite it having the sugar frosting on it. The cinnamon roll has decent flavor. Outside crust is a bit hard though. Was it carb worthy, not really. A fresh out of the oven one might have been carb worthy. The roll in the center was scalding hot and burnt the roof of my mouth even. It was warmed in the microwave for sure since it wasn’t even cooked through. The coffee itself isn't too bad here, better quality than expected. They have Delight coffee creamer. The Colorado jack scramble wasn't too bad, as was the green chili chicken hash. I had a random piece of bacon in my chili chicken hash. Both the scramble and the hash were better with jalapeños. I did put quite a bit of Cholula on my hash, it needed additional heat for me.More

Wife and I had breakfast. Wisconsin scramble for me and patriot waffle for her. We each had bacon, and mine came with an English muffin and potatoes. All nicely seasoned. Server was great too.

I have had breakfast here a couple of times which results in my high recommendation of this “local” and “woman owned” business. The environment is warm and inviting. I felt like a regular on my very first visit because of the top notch staff and...confidence in the menu items. They are experts in attentiveness, friendliness, and cleanliness. I recommend asking for Joanie but Maddy or Josephine will take great care of you too. The coffee is very good and you can choose from regular, bold, or decaf. Your server will bring a carafe of coffee and a bottle of water for your table. That’s right. You can keep your coffee and water full and fresh your entire visit. There are flavored creamers on the table but the ladies will offer to bring you some ice cold 1/2 & 1/2 from the fridge if you’d rather have that. The menu offers a good selection of fresh items that will allow everyone to come away happy, even those that are annoyingly picky or have restricted diets. There are classic options like eggs, toast, pancakes (huge and delicious), etc. but there are also options like a banana & strawberry waffle, raspberry granola pancake, or a Parisian Benedict. They serve the warm syrup (like my Granny used to do) and have an option for gluten free toast or turkey sausage for those sensitive tummies. All can be happy so come and sit awhile. Sunnyside Up Café was a huge hit at our 2021 Bike MS: Pedal los Pueblos cycling event for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. They were prompt and prepared for the event and brought so much excitement to the start/finish line, food area and home base...at New Mexico Veterans’ Memorial. We had a wide variety of different age groups at the ride, and without a doubt every single person loved the breakfast burritos! Sunnyside Up was flexible with the time of our event and coordinated an early pick-up. There were many high fundraisers, donors, and business professionals at the event that noted on the quality of breakfast from Sunnyside Up. Overall, Sunnyside Up made our entire event experience unforgettable - their poise, reliability, and professionalism made it so easy for our staff to focus on our tasks, without having to worry or stress about the food at the event. terrible food. we got our food cold, told waitress, we where not chomped and DID NOT eat our food and paid for it.....it was bad got up to pay, lady asked if we told our waitress...we said yes...they did nothing about it...wouldent warm it up,...made us pay.....dont go to this place its a joke.....(just finished writing this and watched a employee buy drugs next to my car in the parking lot.....real nice.) After we posted this review on google the owner responded by blameing the victum.....2 honest people reporting what we saw. manager response to situation..... "(In your future dining experiences (at other establishments as you are no longer welcome at ours)"........so we complained, and then he responded by calling us liars and removed our review from google reviews....to report a issue and get attacked in a review by a manager calling us liars...we wont ever be back.More
