A friend and I visited here for lunch. She works in the area and this place was untried but sounded acceptable. First of all, they will make you your own fruit juice. Real fruit juice. At the moment you order it. It is delicious. My...More

Description
A neighborhood taco joint that serves tasty, inexpensive, non-Anglicanized Mexico food. It's street-style food with the option to sit down for dinner. Tacos are availble in a wide array of varieties: beef; chicken; pork; shrimp; fish (prepared in a mind boggling number of recipes). Starting at .99 cents, they won't put a big dent in your wallet. Some of the special plates are big enough for two. The shrimp cocktail is a meal unto itself. This is a great place for brunch, lunch or dinner. And it's great if you're traveling and want to get away from the tourist trap New Mexican cuisine places. The best recommendation for Tacos Tijuana? The locals eat here.
